If you don't like SRV, you probably won't like Albert King, SRV took alot from him.

I voted for SRV/

Can't say that I'm familiar with Albert King. I voted for Taj Mahal, just as my favorite. I really like BB King though, didn't notice until after I voted.

I went with Hendrix - the man was a guru.

Hendrix - no qualms.
Not to discount the other great men on this list, those who preceded and inspired him, or those who outlived him with larger bodies of seminal work to their credit, but . . . he's Jimi, y'know?

It's a tie between Eric Clapton and Hendrix.

Henrix is the most influential guitarist of all time. We have so much to thank him for. His influence on rock guitar is unmatched by any other and his playing touched all that followed him.

Stevie Ray was a blues technician the likes of with we may never see again but was a completely different type of artist. Less of an explorer than hendrix.

Clapton's my favorite. If it were between skill that would be hard.

jimi hendrix, just because of the fact that he's jimi hendrix.

Hendrix.

This isn't a very fair poll though.
