I would have loved to see an old blues master on stage as that's where the real magic happens with the blues I think. I have a live version of 'The Thrill Is Gone' by B.B King and it absolutely blows me away

I'm not sure if he's still touring or not, but if you ever get the chance to see him, you have to do it. I have a feeling he's not going to be around much longer. :(

He's in his 80's now and I would doubt if he travels outside of America now. I need to seriously expand my blues collection sometime.

He was 72 when I went to see him, and I remember thinking how fortunate I was to be able to witness such a great performer. Ah memories...

Hardly. He changed there styles of playing Greatly. Why do you think every guitarist respects him. So if someone likes how I play guitar, and I am influenced by Clapton then there just liking Clapton??? NOOOOPE.

If you want some amazing modern blues check out Johnny A. Mainly if not all instrumental blues jams/rhythms.

If it's instrumental it would probably bore me TBH. The vocals are just as integral and probably even more so in Blues music.

That surprises me. You strike me as a more of an instrumental type of guy.
