Free scores with chord progressions
I have recently started playing my YPT-300 Yamaha keyboard. As a clarinetist and self-taught pianist, I am improvising old tunes by combining the melody on sheet music and bass chord tabulatures.
Where is the best place for printing out these 2 free from the Internet? For instance, I have downloaded the sheet music from some web sites and the chord progressions from other web sites, i.e.,"baby, It's cold outside." Or, I check out books from the library and use some I already have. I realize that I can order these books for a price, but since they are oldies and I am 71 yrs old, I want to limit my library. I also realize that composers(and heirs) are due royalties for all their hard work. Thanks for any ideas. |

G'day,
If you can get a copy of Band-in-a-Box there are thousands of files available that will allow you to print out a leadsheet melody and chords. Otherwise if you have a couple of songs you want I could send the lead sheets. btgraham@tpg.com.au Barry Graham Melbourne, Australia |
