i am of the camp that taking drugs do enhance creativity

bebop wouldn't be so lopsided, technical and fast if Bird didn't take heroin

Yeah, but not all drugs enhance creativity. I've actually never done heroin (never will) but I didn't think of it as being a creativity enhancer.

Yeah, but that may have been the experience of using heroin itself, not the actual effects of it.
