New Years Resolutions

List 'em.

Mine: to be less ignorant, to be less selfish, to stop being so lazy and exercise.

:)

Oh and I must tell you. Last New Years I decided my resolution would be to not eat McDonalds for a year.

I didn't touch one bite.

Cheese 12-30-2005 01:54 AM

To get a longer fuse and support Sandra more than I have been of late.:)

Merkaba 12-30-2005 01:58 AM

I want to sort my everything out. Especially getting my A into G about university.

Cheese 12-30-2005 02:02 AM

Nearly forgot. This is going to be particularly hard.Try and do something that doesn't wind up being car related.

Merkaba 12-30-2005 02:04 AM

Oh, you and my father would get along nicely. I swear if our garage had a bed, fridge and t.v, I'd never see my dad inside the house again.

Sounds like he has his priorities right:D

Does he restore or just an enthusiast?

Well he like his mechanical stuff. He works on one of the NZV8 supercars, does the engine and setup. He races his own mini, just because it's the only thing he can afford. When hes not fustrated with it, he really enjoys it as a toy haha.

And he doesn't restore things, though he'd love an old Torana frame and chasis, and 10 grand to play with.

Cheese 12-30-2005 02:46 AM

Has to be an XU1:D

I'm currently cleaning the tinworm out of a 70 3.3 Cresta

Cresta? I haven't the foggiest idea of who makes them???

XU1, you're onto it.

MURDER JUNKIE 12-30-2005 03:00 AM

I really need to quit smoking before it kills me. I was diagnosed with athsma when I was quite young and I was still stupid enough to pick up the habit, it has been going on for 14 years now and there is not one day of the week that I do not have to take my inhaler.

I'm not looking for sympathy or anything, I am just stating that I am really going to try

Tis a Vauxhall or of late a Toyota *shudders*
It's a bit similar to an HR Holden

An XU1 or the later A9X hatchback are the only ones worth restoring

This is a Cresta.

I'm hoping to smoke more...sometimes 20 a day just is'nt enough.
Drink more alchohol. alchohol = fun.
Avoid annoying people.
Sleep more than 3 hours a night.
Pay more attention to my children.
Pay less attention to my wife.
Tell people I dislike, what I really think of them.
Increase my sexual activities 2 fold.
Speak in a monotone voice to my boss when he asks me questions.
Develop an annoying laugh.
Stop swearing in front of my parents and try to get them to stop swearing in front of me.
To stop headbutting knobheads in pubs. (it's becoming a bad habit recently).

BlueEyedSuicide 12-30-2005 07:28 PM

To be more patient with my family
To start actually DOING my Algebra ll homework, so I can get into college
...Actually, to start doing my homework in general
To not be so angry at people I dislike
To exercise. Whenever possible. Also cutting back on anything that.. Umm.. Tastes good, basically.

i stopped doing the whole new years resolutions some time ago, never had one that i actually followed through with...

Imonlydancing 12-31-2005 06:49 AM

I don't think i have a new years resolution.
Pass my exams?
Meh.

i am not emo 12-31-2005 06:54 AM

Well I make one of these every year, but never stick to it. I should make one that I'll actually do, like say I wont eat peas for a year... because I dont like peas, and seldom eat them anyway...

Imonlydancing 12-31-2005 06:56 AM

I do that.
For lent.
ALWAYS give up pinapple.
I HATE pinapple.

i am not emo 12-31-2005 06:59 AM

But if you hate pineapple that means you can't eat pineapple and cheese on a stick...
WHAT?!?!
...poor girl...

Imonlydancing 12-31-2005 07:06 AM

holdyoualways 12-31-2005 08:24 AM

everytime i make a "resolution" it usually has something to do with losing what or somewhat. then it lasts all of 3 days. so ive given up on that whole concept.

mosesandtherubberducky 12-31-2005 04:15 PM
