I see that more in the more older members on the board. In many threads where people say they like a band and an older memeber will come and say the suck and starting flaming that person. Like in the official Green Day thread, a thread that I would expect to be a place only for Green Day fans, it will be covered in older members saying "Green Day sucks" or "they have no talent". It happens in many threads and even though it is O.K to voice your opinions I feel like some might not want to voice their opinions because of Older members bringing down others.

Im not trying to turn this into another green day arguement, but alot of members have stated time and time again as to why they think a band sucks. Forums are here to post opinions and i think their is a diffirence between saying a band sucks and a whole genre sucks.

It is o.k if you want to post that in another thread but it seems rediculous to post that in the official Green Day Thread.

This is one of the many reasons kashmir got flamed its a forum, we dicuss opinions if someone doesn't like a band and they state it and don't attack people for liking them its fine. Seriously this forum would be stupid if everyone was postive towards a band. Diversity is why i like musicbanter.

What does he have to do with this? I am not saying dont be negative at all. I am just saying that In certain threads, there needs to be self controll.

you're totally right. I myself have been guilty of this (quite awhile ago, thank god). Older Members have even more pressure to uphold the rules of this forum. Punishments will not be more leniet, simply because you know me (or any other mod for that matter) on a forum.

The problem is that when one c0cks up, every one else rips their genitles off (myself included), so we only get stuck with argumentative people, and all the nice ones run. Maybe just a bit of manners would be nice, tis all
