you're totally right. I myself have been guilty of this (quite awhile ago, thank god). Older Members have even more pressure to uphold the rules of this forum. Punishments will not be more leniet, simply because you know me (or any other mod for that matter) on a forum.

You were commenting on how Older Members can flame newer members. I was agreeing and saying that I (as a mod) enforce it even among the older members

It just isn't about Green Day. Like in a recomendation thread, I recomened TMMB and Misfitspunk quotes me and says plainly "they suck". I mean really. There is a time and place to where you can debate about which band sucks or not but I felt that that wasn't the time or place.

Because the Sorry that never happens bit was regarding something else...not to do with threads being stickied

I still stand by my point that it's not the etiquette the noobs bring to the forums. It's the etiquette we present to them, as respected members.

Telling them how to post and what to do is wrong. I don't do it, I wouldn't want to be treated that way. This isn't a fucking Concetration Camp.

Let them post, give them a chance to get a feel for the place themselves and for christ sake lay off them if you disagree. Tis as much their forum as it is ours. Don't expect them to know everything the moment the sign up.
