Dreamed I was in an empty and dark (aside from the moonlight coming in through the domed glass ceiling and the neon lights from the food court in the distance) indoor water park/mall hybrid type place. The decor was tacky 80s futuristic themed. I was sitting cross-legged in the water-- in a very large, round pool surrounded by slides, giant fake plants, fish tanks and the usual water park things. I was in the center of it. The water only came up to my chest. (I'd fallen asleep listening to the Cocteau Twins song I posted in the other thread, so I kept hearing bits and pieces of it in the dream) A security guard eventually appeared and told me that I shouldn't be wearing an evening gown in the pool because it was shedding pearls and stringy bits everywhere and clogging up the drain. This made me unreasonably agitated, so I stood up, waded over to the nearby fish tank, and pulled out the largest fish I could find and ate it while staring at the guard in attempt to intimidate him. It didn't work. So I peeled off my dress and went to go sulk inside one of the enclosed tube slides.

I wish I had dreams like yours.

There's a bit of a downside though, because occasionally (if one has extremely vivid dreams on a regular basis) you'll have a dream of an idyllic alternate universe that lasts for months/weeks in dream-time and go on to develop extremely close friendships with all of these wonderful and odd dream people (who somehow manage to stick in your memory long after the dream is over)-- and then you wake up with a strange sense of loss.

Oh man I can't bring myself to read that again, but damn, what a story. I think about it often.

Last night I dreamt I was back in college and back with my college girlfriend. We were taking a literature class together where we had to write essays using a code the professor had created. His code was designed so only four letters could communicate as much information as a long complicated paragraph. Unfortunately, I failed to master the code so I wrote a paper in standard English and that caused me to fail the class. When my girlfriend found out she dumped for a guy who understood the code.

I dreamt I was my dad and instead of treating me like **** I was real nice.

I also had a sex dream. My lover was a beautiful woman with a big dick. In the end she left me to join a motorcycle gang led by Ronnie James Dio. She tried not to say goodbye but I ran her down. Then during the goodbye scene I wasn’t there but in my place was a woman who gave my girlfriend a souvenir picture of the two of them together. Then she off on her motorcycle. The dream took place on a beach and my chick with a dick girlfriend was always nude. Woke up with really solid morning wood.
