Don't let your dreams be dreams.

Ive had these weird dreams the past few years once in a blue moon, and i had one last night and i just thought you might think its interesting, plus i doubt anyone else does this but i wont find out unless i talk about it. The dream never seems unrealistic, no giant purple elephants or space creatures or anything, it just feels like a normal day in life, and theres always this girl there, i cant remember what she looks like or anything i just remember she was there, and i remember kissing her but thats about it. But every time i wake up from that dream i have tears in my eyes and feel really sad that it was just a dream and wasnt real. Interesting thought, that i could be in love with a girl that i only dream about and never remember.

Today I dreamt that I was walking through a city that looked a lot like Moscow.
With me was some guy I apparently knew in the dream. He told me, that he'd show me the other city.
We went into some kind of telephone booth, but once we were inside, it turned out to be an elevator. Two other guys entered just before the door closed. They looked weird and one of them tried to bite my hand. The guy who was with me stopped him and told me not to mind. He said the other city had some weird inhabitants. The elevator moved up for some time, we arrived at our destination and exited, finding ourselves on what looked like a system of flat and not so flat rooftops, connected with bridges, with little towers and ornaments here and there. If you looked down, you could see the city below. The buildings on which we were dissolved at some point in the middle of the air. I also remembered, that they were not visible from below.
I engaged in conversation with some of the people up there. Some were nice, some were weird, some were hardly people at all.
Some kind of ritual was started. I don't remember exactly how it went down. At some point I noticed, that reality started to dissolve, but the people on the rooftop were talking too much. I pointed out that the ritual would certainly work better, if everyone shut up. They did and we started again.
Things started to dissolve again. Everything burned, but the flames had the colour and texture of the things themselves. I was also burning. At some point nothing was left and my consciousness was catatapulted at an infinite speed towards something indescribable. Then I woke up.

I'm no shrink, but it sounds like textbook suppression of homosexual tendencies.

Now that's what I call a dream.

Moscow stands for my suppression, because of all the eastern-european homophobia, the other city is the city of gayness, the final leap was the leap towards completely embracing it. Checks out.

I have fun dreams like that very often. Some are lucid and I can control them, some are terrifying, but fascinating nightmares.

I've had lucid dreams where I was very aware that I was dreaming, but I was never able to shatter the matrix and control it.

I can control most of my lucid dreams, but almost never completely.
I have to make conscious efforts all the time to keep things happening my way.
And even then the general direction of the dream is usually unchangeable.

I'm having this recurring dream where I'm at the beach building a sandcastle with someone I knew years ago. The corner of the castle started to crumple and I go to mend it and some kind of bird blob flies out of it. Then for some reason the girl I was with starts eating sand, and I thought I'd give it a shot. It was disgusting until she asks if I was swallowing it, at which point it takes on a citrusy flavour. I tell her I was swallowing and she tells me that your supposed to hold it in your mouth. I did. The sand started to melt and my mouth was full of water, which I swallowed. She tells me to try again but hold it for longer. It goes from sand to water again before it starts to solidify. I keep holding it and eventually it was entirely solid. I spit it out into my hand and realize that it froze inside of my mouth. It was a perfect mold of my mouth, except they looked more like dentures than an imprint. We trade mouth molds and she starts to eat mine with some difficulty. I pop hers right in like a mint and we agree that my mouth is much larger than hers. Then we leave the empty theatre (which we have transported to) and the sunlight that enters from the massive door as we push it open wakes me up.

Have at it, pseudo psychoanalysts.
