Fragments (all pretty unexciting) from this weekend:

-I'm in a house. It's my best friend's house, but it's completely different in the dream. It looks like an old manor, and we're in a bedroom that opens out onto the second floor hall/balcony area. There is a girl there with us who is me and also not me. My point of view keeps shifting from mine to hers. She might have been dead, but it's unclear. She's petite and has blue eyes and short, straight hair (parted down the middle) that's just above shoulder length. It keeps changing color. She's on various drugs. When we're merged together, or whatever, she's calm, however I don't like it for obvious reasons. When we're separated-- when she's no longer possessing me, I guess-- she's hysterical, yelling and sobbing, incoherent. She paces around in circles and grabs at me. The farther away I get from her (physically), the more hysterical she becomes. My friend looks extremely concerned; he throws a blanket around me and guides me out the door into the hall toward the stairs. We're talking telepathically and we both acknowledge that it's a dire situation; this dead girl has taken hold of me many times over many years, and each time it happens, I become weaker and and closer to death. We don't quite make it to the stairs; I turn around for some reason and become fixated on this small area of the wall near the floor. I touch it, and as I do, I feel as though I am dissolving. I've had so many variations of this dream. At least she wasn't trying to kill me in this one.

-I'm looking in the mirror; I have light blonde, curly shoulder length hair (curled in a sort of vintage style) and I seem to be happy. I'm wearing jewelry and a strapless dress. Nothing else was there in the dream; just me and this mirror in a dark room. I didn't move at all physically; only my reflection did. (In my reflection I'd shake my head gently, fiddle with a strand of hair briefly, let go of it and then smile-- the same exact sequence of movements over and over, like a video clip repeating.)

-Not sure if this one was a dream or not. In it, I keep waking and hearing/sensing movement in the next room, near the front door. And then past that room, down the hall-- at the very end of it. In my mind I see someone standing there holding a candle in the dark. When I look, they're there, but they're only barely visible-- just a tall, dark shrouded figure and the faintest light. It goes dark again, and I start having a different dream (that I can no longer remember) and then I wake and see the figure down the hall again and so on.

-I am helping someone make some sort of lemon pastry. I'm rambling on and on about lemons and about baking in general-- something something Myer lemons-- while looking down at a white counter and not really knowing who it is I'm even talking to. He feels familiar, but only somewhat. I'm taking the task very, very seriously because the lemon things are for some semi-important event or gathering; (which I had nothing to do with) someone had given him the task and he didn't know what to do, so he summoned me, I guess.

Dreamed Lana del Rey showed up at my front door and told me I'd been chosen. She told me to come with her. I followed her to her black van and got into the back seat. I noticed her eyebrows were bleached. She talked and talked about something; I don't remember what it was about but I was listening to her for at least 45 minutes in the dream. It was overcast outside; her van was sort of gliding over the swamp lands and through the trees. This all seemed perfectly normal to me. While she talked I thought, "She doesn't seem terribly bright," but clearly we were kindred spirits, I figured, based on this whole situation. We arrived at some place I don't remember. A man in a rumpled suit was there; she hugged him and told him he was not allowed to make contact with me. Can't remember the rest.

Dreamed I had a youtube persona named Dolphina Windchime. I wore a long curly black wig, a lace doily on my head and gave mystical advice and weekly made up astrology reports which all seemed to heavily revolve around the topic of river spirits (?) and making "shadow baskets" as offerings to them in order to placate them which is absolutely something I would do.

I had a dream last night that I wasn’t in.

I see online people asking about dreams where you weren’t yourself

But this wasn’t even in first person

It was about a dude hiking in red rocks canyon but it wasn’t me

I wasn’t watching it in my dream

I wasn’t a character in the dream

It was just a story
