I know that , but I was told if you topic was intelligent enough and people wanted to post in it it wouldn`t get buried by all that stuff

We have more lounge lizards then we do people interested in that stuff, it will get buried. Besides MX is a music forum and they have their lounge divided up.

No another one created , just a more open one where people can post more loosely.

em...i think the current lounge is as loose as a forum/subforum can get, you can't allow everything....

I know there should be more off topic forums on here , i`ve been saying for months the lounge is to small for what the forum has become.But nobody in charge seems to agree.

Conversations flow , sometimes topics change & other discussions come up. I think threads in the lounge should be allowed to have that happen to them if it happens.At the moment that happens you get moaned at for spamming.

I completely agree that something should be done with the lounge, anyone with half a brain could figure that much out, but only the admins can make a decision like that, and theyre practically never on.

i think you mentioned something about books? that's a bit laughable, seeing as how there's a books thread and me and right-track are the only people bothered to post what we're currently reading....

I guess it got buried in pointless threads

I made a movies thread
And it went good for a while
But then everyone started dedicating threads to specific movie, and I was angered.
I definitly agree that we need a politics forum.
With a lounge filled to the brim with useless forum games and random threads
It will be a nice departure to see a forum that people with no intelligence will more than happily stay away from
I think that any arguments that get started in the forum are only healthy
The best way to learn anothers view point is to discuss it
And the way to build upon your own arguments is to hear other sides of the story. Or hear an issue from another person's point of view.
When the arguments are stupid and mindless (a la "Bush is *** because he put us in war!!" ) is when there will be a problem
But as I said earlier
Most people like that would be deterred from the forum in the first place because it would be a forum (for the most part) that is a breeding ground for intelligent conversation
