So I decided to resurect this thread, because my flights to New Zealand have been confirmed, my job applications have been sent in, and as of tomorow, I will have sent in all the paperwork for my work VISA. WOOT!!

here's my flight schedule:

April 25, 5:55pm - Calgary to Los Angeles
April 25, 8:03pm - arrive in Los Angeles
April 25, 11:00pm - Los Angeles to Auckland
April 27, 6:45am - arrive in Auckland

May 19, 7:00am - Wanganui to Auckland
May 19, 8:00am - arrive in Auckland
May 19, 9:00am - Auckland to Christchurch
May 19, 10:20am - arrive in Christchurch
May 19, 10:45am - Christchurn to Wanaka
May 19, 11:45am - arrive in Wanaka

August 20, 12:15pm - Wanaka to Christchurch
August 20, 1:10pm - arrive in Christchurch
August 20, 2:50pm - Christchurch to Auckland
August 20, 4:10pm - arrive in Auckland
August 20, 9:45pm - Auckland to Los Angeles
August 20, 2:40pm - arrive in Los Angeles

my god Jibber...thats a lot of flying as you said....also what will you be doing in New Zealand...and why do you have to fly that much just to get there

haha, well, for the first month i'll be backpacking in the north island, making my way from auckland to wanganui. Then i'll fly from wanganui to wanaka, and work there for three months at Treble Cone ski resort (hopefully!), which will allow me to ski, then I come home 2 days before I start college again

Basically, all those connections make the flight cheaper, and wanaka's airport doesnt fly out of new zealand, so i have to make connections through chirstchurch to get to auckland which will fly me to LA, which is the cheapest way i can get back to calgary. so yeah. i'm stoked.

O boy haha.........sounds cool though thanks to you the two places i want to travel to one day are Iceland (due to the pictures you posted) and well ive always wanted to go to New Zealand

haha, sweet. yeah i'm definitely going to have to go back to iceland at some point, but there are so many other places I want to go to first. It's such a relief to finally have all the paperwork sorted out, now all I have to do is get all my college applications through (and get accepted) so I can actually go to school next year. oh, and somehow make it through the rest of the semester without dropping out.
