Fenixpunk 03-14-2006 02:51 PM

 Deafinately!

Barnard17 03-14-2006 03:51 PM

You do realise it's a train? Those things that go "WOOOO" real loud? You'd think she'd have heard it coming :(

bungalow 03-14-2006 03:52 PM

She's deaf......

Unless of course you were joking :]

right-track 03-14-2006 03:53 PM

Was deaf.

As the great Homer Simpson once said; "It's funny, cos' it wasn't me."

jibber 03-14-2006 05:33 PM

That's not funny. Yeah, if it was in a cartoon or on a TV show and wasn't realy, it would be ironic and humorous. The fact is that this girl died. that's not funny in the least.

Jibber, your right.

*hangs head in shame*

The remark Fenix made was funny though.

So what exactly are you trying to get across with that statement? If it were someone you knew you sure as hell wouldn't be laughing and calling her special. Have some decency for fuck's sake. An 18 year old girl was killed, her family and friend's have to deal with it now and somehow get on with their lives and you're laughing at her and calling her special?

bungalow 03-14-2006 06:16 PM

Lighten up. I am sick of everybody on this forum acting like they are some kind of humanitarian. Do you want a Nobel Peace Prize jibber?

So you're sick of people having a conscience? I'm failing to see exactly why it's so wrong of me to feel sorry for a young girl who was killed.

bungalow 03-14-2006 06:23 PM

I realize that it's sad.
But are you really loosing sleep over it. It is ironic, nothing more.

haha, "losing sleep over it"? Well, seeing as how it's 6:23 PM here, no, no I'm not. I just don't find it funny, in the least, and I think it's pretty sick that you're actually laughing over the fact that an actual human being was killed. I don't care how ironic the situation is, if you find a story about someone getting killed funny, there's something wrong with you.

bungalow 03-14-2006 06:26 PM

Maybe there is something wrong with me.
It is ironic, irony is humorous.

yep, definitely something wrong with you if you find this situation funny. If you're not able to feel sympathy for other people, it's definitely a sign that something's wrong with you.

bungalow 03-14-2006 06:32 PM

IRONY IS HUMOROUS

Another situation I find funny, is the fact that the man who lived his whole life with grizzly bears, the man who said that he was accepted by the bears, and that they treated him like family, was mauled to death by a bear.

I cant help it, it's funny.

jibber 03-14-2006 06:35 PM

yep, you're pretty much an a**hole with no sympathy for other people. Have fun living the rest of your life with your complete lack of ability to empathise with other human beings. I actually feel sorry for you that you find those two situations humorous, I really do.

Rabid Sea Turtles 03-14-2006 06:38 PM

Wow...that is ironic.

sleepy jack 03-14-2006 06:39 PM

It's not even that ironic.

bungalow 03-14-2006 06:39 PM

Yes it is.......conformist

Rabid Sea Turtles 03-14-2006 06:42 PM

I can see where bungalow is coming from, but I can also see where jibber is coming from. Funny and sad.

hahaha, that was the most pathetic attempt at starting an argument i've ever seen. good job on making yourself look like even MORE of a pathetic a**hole, if that's even possible.

5)
GASSY FOOD!
A terrible diet and room with no ventilation are being blamed for the death of Michael Franklin, who was killed by his own body gasses. There was no mark on his body, but an autopsy showed large amounts of methane gas in his system. His diet had consisted primarily of beans and cabbage.
It was just the right combination of foods to produce these gasses and it appeared that the man died in his sleep from breathing in the poisonous cloud that was hanging over his bed.
Had he been outside or had his windows been opened it would not have been fatal but the man was shut up in his near airtight bedroom.
He was a very big man with a huge capacity for producing this deadly gas. Three of the rescuers got sick and one of them was hospitalised!

You cannot tell me that's not funny.

Rabid Sea Turtles 03-14-2006 06:45 PM

That is funny!

Jibber please don't hate me.

jibber 03-14-2006 06:46 PM

nope, not really funny. If the situation was in a cartoon or TV show, and a REAL HUMAN BEING didn't actually die, then yes, i would probably laugh at it. But see, since I recognize the fact that his family is now grieving his death, don't find it humorous.

bungalow 03-14-2006 06:47 PM

So, it is alright to laugh at stories about people dying?
Well, what if I told you that the story wasn't true....would you laugh then?

Rabid Sea Turtles 03-14-2006 06:49 PM

What kind of family has there son living in an almost airtight room?

yes....because seeing as how no one actually died, the irony or the situation can be funny without the reality that someone's life has ended. See there's this crazy concept called fiction and reality....apparently you're not entirely able to see the difference....

mosesandtherubberducky 03-14-2006 06:53 PM

The second one is sad and the first one had the funny puns by fenix and right-track. Now all that needs to happen is someone needs to mention nazis or hitler in their post so that this pointless thread gets closed.

bungalow 03-14-2006 06:54 PM

Oh ok.
Well, if you laughed about it, and then I told you that it was true....would you 'withdrawl' your laugh?

How is the second one sad? And how is this thread pointless?
I remember somone making a thread bout the guy whose house was burned down by a mouse, and you never called that thread pointless. What is a 'pointful' thread moses?

Hitler was actually party Jewish, so the nazi's should have killed him. pretty damn hypoctrical huh?

alright, now someone need's to close this f*cking thread.

What kind of family lets this happen to their kid then grieves?

bungalow 03-14-2006 07:02 PM

Why should this thread be closed?

bungalow 03-14-2006 07:07 PM

http://www.musicbanter.com/showthrea...ighlight=mouse

Everyone thought that this mouse was quite admirable, even though a poor homeowner lost his house. Why didn't you practice for your Nobel acceptance speech in this thread jibber?

Moses, I'll admit, my thread is much more pointless than yours
http://www.musicbanter.com/showthread.php?t=12184

jibber 03-14-2006 07:14 PM

yes, because thinking a man who severely abused an animal got what he deserved by having his house burn down is the same as laughing at a deaf girl who was killed in a train accident....
