haha, yeah no kidding, talk about pressure, although technically, how do you screw something like that up? the only thing you could screw up is the landing, which wouldnt really be your concern....

but really, jokes aside, i really do think that guy in the picture is really brave. like someone said, if you look at other people, they're trying hard to stay upright, like they still havent accepted the fact that they have no control over their fate anymore. This guy just let himself go, hes accepted that he has no control over whether he lives or dies, and just free-falls, he alsmot looks relaxed. I think it's really brave for people to give up control like that, because its something i dont think i could ever do. I have a hard time accepting the fact that sh*t happens and I cant do anything about it.

I've seen the film footage of this on a documentary about Vietnam and it's horrific. The man executed was a Viet Con officer and said to be responsible for the deaths of 8 South Vietnamese. I think the photo is more powerful than the news reel.

this is one of the most shocking things i've ever seen, i saw the clip on a tv calendar thingy, i couldn't believe my eyes...the man was killed in front of my eyes....i could see the exact moment of his death.....i was shocked beyond belief....the officer was talking to him for 5 minutes, shouting at him while the man was looking at his feet, and then bam! it's over....
