so how about we change the name of the song of the week forum to album reviews?...of course it wouldnt be genre specific because who wants another 15 sub forums so it would basically be like a very unorganized record collection, i still dont see the problem with reviewing records in an already existing forum..if people cant behave themselves on those, i doubt they would anywhere.

Let’s just take that first sentence out behind the wood shed for a moment. They aren't subjective? Perhaps if someone better versed in punk than I listed 30 bands you would be able to accurately decide whether or not they were punk or "other." And unless they were obnoxiously obscure, you ought to know them since you prance around this thread with the air of consummate punk fan.

Instead, how about you list us the definitive criteria for a punk band.

They have to do something different and be original. If that fails they have to have a mohawk and sing anarchy.
