Death is one of the few things that is assured. from the second tou're born it's happening so either way no one is is going to live forever.
I'm not the least concerned how I will die, I'm just not so sure I want to be there when it happens.

I think a bad way to die is if someone is there who can save you, but for some reason doesn't. Like they are looking the other way, but if they turned around they could just pull you to safety. Or being burned slowly while you are trapped and unable to do anything about it. Having someone cut your stomach open and start ****ing around with your organs... until you die...having a sharp object slowly enter your brain through your eye... ughhhh. Drowning over those anyday.

I also would like to live a long time. I do believe in an afterlife merely because life itself is such a miracle... to think that random "time" could create such perfection through the "PERFECT" series of events is more outrageous than the idea of a great being. I mean, ****, one group of atoms slips off to the right of a star instead of the left and well, we don't exist. In my opinion, of course. Nevertheless, death scares me into paralysis sometimes... thinking that everything is just gone makes me sick to my stomach.

That ****s pathetic, How about having your intestans nailed to a pole, and being forced to walk umtil they were fully out, then walking in a circle around the pole until the instestines were wrapped around it completley :). Or have ing your side slit and your ribs being ripped upwards out your body. Having Mercury poured down yout throat. Acid dips? Having your skin peeled of, then haveing acid thrown on the raw flesh underneath, Have burning hot needles stuck into your eyes until they reached your brain ? yeah fun fun.

quite indicative that most people focused on thinking about the worst way to die....
and crowe, i know what you mean, sometimes i'm quite amazed how the world functions at all...i think it's because we don't really have the mental capacity to fully grasp death...or there's some protective mechanism that prevents us from truly understanding it....

taking pills after pills, and cuting your wrist.. mean while thinking this whole time.. then having the guilt and the pain go through your vains.. then realizing you will more then liking live.. then having to live with the fact that everyone around you will be disapointed in you, and never truly trsut you again. So then you go on to think its better to die, not just knowing and feeling all the pain you felt the first time, but added on to the thoughts peopel have placed on you this time.. that you really do kill yourself.. having more pain this time around.

I think the worst way to die would maybe be freezing to death!

I concur, for the most part.

Burning to death.

I think I must be one of the few people that really doesnt consider death. I am aware that someday I will die, but it doesnt really cross my mind much. maybe it's because i've become incapable of thinking about anything past the next week, or maybe i just dwell on it indirectly. I'm a very impulsive person, and tend to take more than a few risks. maybe the fact that i'm impulsive and can't plan ahead too far in the future is a manifestation of a fear of death.
