Either God exists or I exist. But we can't both exist. We're mutually exclusive.

HEY!
I learned what mutually exclusive means in Alg. 2.

I guess it wasn't completely useless.

Trig is the only useful thing you will learn in math. I don't know if they cover that in Algebra 2..

DontRunMeOver 06-23-2006 04:07 AM

I don't believe that you OR god exist!

You're suggesting that everybody should spend so much of their valuable time to read a book full of rubbish storytelling with a who's who of 'begatting'? To some people its just not that important and might constitute a big waste of time which could be better spent doing something more constructive.

I got as far as reading about 1/4 of the bible before and it bored the living **** out of me, so now I'm quite happy to pass judgement on the book and think that anybody else who passes judgement on the book without a full knowledge or understanding of it is entitled to do so.

And no I'm not going to explain, I don't want to because I am tired of certain ones dragging things out and mocking everyone that dare make posts on God. But He is real........it's just a matter of accepting it. If you don't, you don't, that's your deal. But one question, for those thta insist that he isn't real, ask yourself this question............What would you do if when you die, you meet God face to face, and you are facing the One you believed your whole life wasn't really there? Then what? Not trying to push anything here, just asking. Put aside all comebacks and think about it.

A lot of people encounter many individuals each week whose existence they were previously unaware of. If such a situation occured, where I came face to face with god, then I'd have to say to him that despite all the problems that befall mankind and all of the other creatures in the universe, its amazingly impressive (x tensquillioin) that all of this was created by just one intelligent entity and if he had a hand I'd have to shake it.

Not very likely though, as god blatantly doesn't exist.

You haven't read the bible so shut the fuck up. Sure someone is entitled to pass judgement on a book they haven't read, it just makes them a moron who really shouldn't be so ignorant. Lets face it most people say God isn't real based on what they think is cool even if they haven't read it, just like people think Radiohead is a good band just because all the indie fags love them. They really aren't getting the full picture.

I've read the bible. I've sat in a church for hours. I have never believed in god. Not even as a little kid when it was a blind kind of thing. And it's not one of those things that I've given a chance once and said that's just the way it is. I look into all kinds of religion all the time but I can't believe god or any other superior being. To me it just isn't plausible. (I couldn't become a christian anyway. I've committed the only unforgivable sin, blasphemy)
