Man pleasers are;

1. Beer
2. Sex
3. Football

Not necessarily in that order, but any one will suffice.

If you manage to produce all three simultaneously, you will be revered above all else and achieve immortality in the eyes of men.

I don't cook. Literally my talent cooking stops at quaedieas (I have no idea how to spell that). I've been really good friends with him for about 4 years and he expects something more than that.

I got him a really rare cd one year, and I just have gotten him standard things since then.

Good suggestions, but
He hates sports and told me he gets his pot and beer from his other friends. I guess that leaves sex, but that just seems too obvious and expected.

what about like to watch the game as well?(will admit quietly to being a football fan[dads side of the family is german, and i was encouraged to play as well as watch...]) i tend to get pissed because all the games i want to see are not shown here unless i pay about 30 extra dollars i don't have, but that means getting the entire sports teir for just one channel....

i doo plan to get that when i make more money*hate not being able to watch the game* stupid american TV!

I think it's a tad odd that you're asking total strangers what to buy for someone you say you've been good friends with for 4 years. You'd think that's enough time to get to know someone. I only buy gifts for the people I care about a great deal, and I always know what to buy. But I'm awesome that way...plus, I always buy gifts that I'd like...and what I like, everyone must like...again, because I'm awesome that way.

I care for him a lot, and I just don't know what to get, and I've ****ed up too much to be wrong. And he constantly tells me how much a the perfect present matters.

Anyways it started as just is this something guys like? then evolved.

I don't much like Arrested development myself. Get him Six feet under or Band of brothers, not only are they two of the best shows that television has ever seen, they come in the coolest boxes in the universe...
