Mos Def Hes got some good stuff, I havn't really gotten into them. The Jesus Lizard Never gotten into. Elvis Costello I think I heard one of his songs but didn't like it enough to check out. Dinosaur jr You're Living All Over Me is great. David Bowie Never gotten into. The Clash Okay, strummer gets annoying after awhile CYHSY Pretty average but enjoyable. Alice in Chains Awful.

Elliott Smith - Personally, I think he's boring to no end. Mellow though.
The Mars Volta - I dig all the guitar work and stuff, but sometimes it gets too Floyd-like for my tastes. The Fall of Troy - Rawk hard. Jethro Tull - Hard rock piccolo? Oh hell yes. Alexisonfire - It's like someone took everything I dislike about generic "hardcore", shook it up in a can, and poured this band out. Death Cab for Cutie - Transatlanticism is in my top 15 albums, mos def. Damien Rice - I haven't heard much from him, but what I've heard I like. Protest The Hero - Ew. There are so many better mathcore/hardcore type bands out there. Gym Class Heroes - Indie rappers, really unimpressive. Grab yourself some Roots. Nick Drake - Haven't heard, but I just think of the Nickolodean star. Pain of Salvation Devin Townsend Rush - This is me playing the bass line to YYZ on expert in Guitar Hero 2 : "Damn you Geddy Lee *shake fist*" They are prog rock, so they are obnoxious at best. TSOAF - Blah. Yeah. Bright Eyes - Conor sounds like a goat, and I hate "I'm Wide Awake". I'm getting back into him though.[/QUOTE] |
