Default Magic the Gathering

This game came to my attention this summer when I was at nerd camp at Duke. I had no idea it existed, like none. This British dude taught me how to play, and it reminded me of like advanced pokemon.

Anyhow, I soon learned that a shocking number of people I know play (including my bf) they are just really hush-hush about it.

Does anyone on this site play? If so do you like it? Or is there anyone like me who is/was completely oblivious to this game until recently?

i use to play when i was like 13-16. its super nerdy (and predates pokemon by many many years) but a really fun card game. it also has collector appeal. i use to love playing green/red combo decks or all black decks.

I heard that if you start playing, almost like magic you gain weight, wear ridiculous clothing, get zits, lose interest in basic hygiene, and lose all sexual desire for women.

NOPE, never played

My brother still has thousands of them and if you show any interest, HE'LL MAKE YOU PLAY!

I liked it for about 6 months 13-14 years ago, but I never had my own cards.

I never got the premise of these games.
Poker is more fun, especially strip poker. My dad taught me.

I used to play for a little bit from like 15-17 I still have the cards in a binder somewhere. I didn't get too hardcore into it though. I was too busy playing ADAD
