one hit of the street acid out there today is nothing. you need at least 4 or 5 hits of that stuff to get a solid trip going.

sounds like you had a wild enough time though. i don't like tripping with hick-ish people around. no matter how good-natured they are or whatever, they always freak me out when i start tripping. and i can convince my self of some crazy shit when i'm tripping. i had a pretty good friend--a country boy type kid--who i was convinced was trying to kill me the last time i tripped with him. it has radically altered my perception of him...to the point that i won't hang out with him alone. and i definitely will never trip around him again.

That sounds like an awesome story duga... all except the wasting of the beer part, that is inexcusable.

I've always wanted to do drugs with a scientist, especially if we're both able to still have some kind of a comprehensible conversation while stoned. Picking a scientist's brain is always fun, but I'll bet they're way more open to talking about stuff and explaining stuff when they're high. Don't know if I could have any kind of conversation on acid though, I've only ever done shrooms and even then it's only a handful of times, all of which I was either alone or with someone who didn't feel like talking anyway. Still I think you chose the best place to do them, out in nature. Miles away from noise and light pollution, with an obsidian sky overhead...

Oh it was wild for sure. Like I said, I was definitely tripping...and for a good 4 or 5 hours as well. It was a completely controlled trip, though. If my mind decided I didn't want a particular object of interest to warp and turn into something else, it didn't. If I did want it to, it did. I could also influence what it was doing. I just keep expecting a total breakthrough and it hasn't happened. Can it happen? This blotter we had was some real quality **** too, according to just about everyone who tried some before me. So far my most intense trip has been with salvia...I had a complete out of body experience with that stuff.

I know what you mean with changing perceptions. Some of the people I was with I have a new opinion of in a good way, others in a not so good way. Nothing as extreme as what happened to you, but I definitely feel it.

I was mostly in a very introspective mood, but when I did talk it was all about science and nature haha. Usually people get annoyed or bored if we are all sober (or even just stoned), but everyone seemed to love it while we were tripping. I also felt incredibly articulate, unlike shrooms where I couldn't put a coherent sentence together to save my life.
