The Recreational Drug Thread

So my roommate and I have obtained an eighth of shrooms. We're planning on each taking half at some point this weekend. This will be both our first experiences with a real psychedelic. I mean I've done salvia and DMT, but those don't really compare. So anyways I'm pretty excited.

Now I've always heard that people go out into the woods to do shrooms, which does sound pretty awesome, but unfortunately I live in Boston and the woods are not close by. So for the whole "set and setting" we are planning on taking them in our dorm and chilling for a while, then there's this field/park area right down the street that we may go out to once they kick in. Any suggestions or is this an appropriate setting?

DMT is one of the most intense trips anyone's likely to have.

I haven't taken DMT, but I've done a lot of Salvia, and LSD, and shrooms (all to extreme points, and when I say extreme, I mean that)... and I gotta say, Salvia has been the MOST intense and the largest mind-fuck of them all, albeit for a far shorter duration.

This Mannny character obviously has some misconceptions and/or assumptions.

And I haven't taken salvia, but of every trip I've ever taken, nothing has come close to rivaling DMT (at least the version I took). It's not even really possible to describe what happens on a DMT trip... you can, but no one will ever understand you unless they've done it themselves. Shrooms, on the other hand, are one of the weakest.

I've had some pretty hardcore trips on shrooms. I live in Louisiana, and in the late 90's, having cow fields around, while being a teenager, I have definitely "over-eaten". 13 or so large, fresh P.Cubensis in my belly. I actually got temporary amnesia when it was all said and done. But even after that kind of trip, a hard salvia trip was more mind-fuck.
I've had some "too intense" acid trips before, which are harder to quantify in dosage amount when you get it off the street, but yea, that tended to have more of a mental mind-fuck than shrooms, but nothing like salvia.

I'm thinking salvia and DMT are in a closer neighborhood to each other than anything else.

I went to a festival where a guy was walking around handing out DMT for free, his reasoning was that God told him to do it. It's said to release the same chemicals in your brain that are released as you're dying. I didnt try it, I was already sketched out.

Salvia is ridiculous, the rush is only about 5-10 minutes long, but fuck me, it's intense. My friend got it at a garden centre haha.
