Bong rips are great if you're with other people. My friend in Vancouver keeps one in his smoking room and he'll just put some roaches in the bowl and take a few rips off it. Great way of using up roaches and can get you pretty damn stoned quickly.

I'm with you though, I enjoy joints a lot more. Only have to light it once, easy to pass over to someone else, only gets hot towards the end and even then there's clips or you could make a little filter and hold onto that.

I'm with Eric on this one, joints are wasteful. I also don't like the taste of paper. Occassionally i'll roll one if i'm heading to a party outdoors or going to a concert or something else outdoors. Give me a bong rip everytime with ice. Maybe if i'm feeling a lil stupid occassionally i'll throw in apple juice or hawaiian punch.

Some research shows that the DEA is starting to target and close in on it. I had never heard of it either though.
