opium isn't chemically extracted at all, it's just the goo inside the poppy seed. you can release the drug in significant quantities just by cutting the seeds. when the active drug is chemically isolated it's known as morphine, or if further processed, heroin.

I tried it twice and if you smoke it properly you will experience something you couldnt even imagine, if youve smoked it and never gotten anything from it you obviously didnt smoke it right. If you smoked it the way it supposed to be smoked you wouldnt disagree with me. If smoked properly yu dont trip out you literally go to a different place, and its ****ed up man, its not addictive though, at least I didnt have a problem, it was so messed up I didnt want to ever do it again.

Considering I've tried every hallucinogen that's being sold in southern Chicago, including but not limited to DMT, LSD, boomers, 2-ce and 2c-b, mescaline and peyote once, I think I would know a little bit about tripping. Salvia Divinorum is a mild hallucinogen, and yes I've smoked it correctly. I got the transportation to another place and out of body nonsense that comes along with it, and I still think it's retarded. To anyone interested in hallucinogens it's the equivelent of non-alcoholic beer, something you try once and laugh about later. I suggest you try something a little more adult, although if you can't handle a ten minute salvia trip I doubt you'll be able to handle acid or boomers without ****ting your pants.

I am in no way interested in doing drugs at all anymore, theyre a waste of time and there are far better and more rewarding things in life. When I was in high school I did acid once and mushrooms once, as well I tried morning glory seeds were kind of a trip too but not that cool, after high school I got into party drugs; Exctasy, Cocain, and alot of weed. I thought Salvia was by far the most ****ed up of them all, definetly not the coolest but the weirdest thing I experienced, with shrooms and acid I still knew I was in real life, I was just trippin hard ,but with the salvia it was an out of body experienced like you said. You dont sound like a prick at all man, I am not as seasoned as you are as far as doing drugs nor do I want to be.

Dateline means nothing. They freaked out over Robitussin. According to them every kid in the country would soon be tripping up and down the street as society fell to nothing.

Im not doubting the fact that you have done it, or other drugs for that matter but it is hardly mind. Perhaps what you had was not strong enough or you have some tolerance (which some do) because 90% of the people who I have personally witnessed take it have pretty much been in another world. And like you, I have done a fair share in most realms of the drug world but many of these people I would consider VERY experienced trippers, and from what I hear they rank it almost near DMT which is actually the strongest hallucinogen.

I've only done it twice. The second time was the one I mentioned which was a much higher quality product and produced a much more intense effect. The first time was bogus, but it was the cheapest the smoke shop had. So I can understand why people think its crap, I wasn't impressed my first time earlier. But, as Schredds stated earlier, if you have high quality Salvia and smoke it properly, it will trip you out.
