That was very clear.

Because of the strict enforcement of our drinking laws and because we have to wait so much longer than every other country in the world, people go a little nuts with the alcohol here. I lived overseas where it was 18, but it was also relaxed as it is in your country. I started drinking at 15/16...had a bit of fun with it, and then was done with binging by 18/19. I still have those nights where I get totally sloshed, but it isn't like a lot of people here who actually develop problems with it because of the fascination given to it. Our drinking laws actually hurt us a lot more than they help us.

I think it's fascinating that someone can be 18 and legally allowed to kill someone by joining the army, but they can't drink a beer.

Interesting post Clementine, that explains it pretty well. It's funny a lot of the time when I was walking around Montevideo or Buenos Aires I could actually smell marijuana on the streets occasionally. It definitely seemed much more accepted down there than it is in the U.S. The video was interesting too, not to mention it's nice watching things in Spanish so I don't completely forget the language.

That's insane - I'd never look to pay more than $5 American for a gram, no more than $10 for headies, and that would still make me feel ripped off. I think maybe my hook-up's got me spoiled, though, but that for a gram still seems extreme.

Just got an ounce today for $150, and it weighed out so that the bag was fat. I was happy with that.

Yeah over $20 is always too much... No more than $10 for heds though? Are you serious? That's dirt cheap, i don't know anywhere I've been on the east coast in the US that you can get heds for $10.

Ah, getting an Oz is such an awesome feeling. Love getting a big ole buddha sac. Just curious, whats the most weight you ever bought?

There's so much pot around here, so many dealers, and so many people who are able to cultivate headies or bring them in from elsewhere (because police tend not to search private property) that even the people shipping stuff in from elsewhere in the states (of high quality) are selling it for cheap. I actually met someone who was having to sell skunk weed at $50 an ounce, and it was legitimately a gram. No bull****ting there. I didn't buy it, because I much prefer what I'm getting right now, but it was insane.

The most I've ever bought at one time...myself and three friends were planning for a weeklong camping trip which a few other people would also be going on with us, and we all threw in on 8 ounces (half pound). ($1000 split four ways wasn't too bad, honestly. Paying $250 each with claim to 2 ounces was a good deal.)

Never seen than much weed all in one place before then or since then.

That's a hell of a deal. I always wanted to get some buddies to pitch in so we could buy a half pound or something like that but they were either too broke or usually just too paranoid or too lazy to deal it.

$50 and Oz!

Damn, the very cheapest I could ever find was $100 and Oz and it was real shitty bud. I never thought of Kentucky as a place where there'd be an abundance of bud but maybe I should consider a move

Here, if you want some an ounce of dank ****, you have to throw in at least 250-350 dollars. A gram goes no less than $13 an can go up to $20 for good ****.

You definitely spoiled man, I envy you, $5 a gram is not a normal price around here.

Not a lot of meth, actually. I've seen that in Huntington, WV, but mostly everyone here appears to just be on narcotic painkillers in my part of KY.

Also, keep in mind that marijuana is Kentucky's number one cash crop - and that tobacco is our number 2 and we're just about the only place in the country where you can buy a pack of cigarettes for $5 (for the main brands) or less (counting all of the taxes). I remember a few years ago, it was less than $3 a pack here, and went I went to a concert in Cleveland, OH, I was outraged that cigarettes there were over $6 for a pack.
