More than 30 years after his death, Jean-Michel Basquiat remains one of America's most influential contemporary artists. He carved a unique style that challenged traditional views of race, poverty and politics in the U.S. Now, his work has come home, to Basquiat’s old stomping grounds in New York's East Village, in a brand-new, private museum owned by the Brant Foundation. Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

about to start an analytical essay on this painting. i thought about another but this one is on the cover of the book, so i wonder if the professor will see if anyone made that connection, plus its also an interesting painting. i did extremely better than i thought i would at the english 101 with writing essays but those topics I knew so much on it was almost un-fair lol how the heck am i going to create a thesis for this painting, let alone type 2 pages about it

You could construe some kind of feminist analysis out of it. How she blends into the background, how the window's abstracted, etc.
