Preciate it.

I can't put my finger on why I've never been huge on Ernst though. Something about his colour choice or the way he does detail I think. Dali's more flamboyant approach is more my speed.

That other painting on the ground I did years ago but its a Steve Jobs quote. I have a dream of painting a bunch more on canvas and selling on my website but just havent yet. Still dont know what to paint but Im going to make it a goal to get something new started after I put the finish touching up on this one. May paint over them 4 elements symbols because they just seem out of place. But the goal is to have this finished soon and put for sale on my website. May put up that Steve Jobs one also.

Looks good.

Spoiler for the power of CAD:
Just for shiggles. Took me 10 minutes.

It probably would have been less if I didn't get sidetracked by someone wanting some actual work done.

The process:
  • 12" dia circle
  • Array middle circles
  • Array outer circles
  • Pline to outer circle centers
  • Offset to outer circles tangent
  • Create lines in middle circles using centerpoints/rotate
  • Export linework to PDF
  • Bring PDF into Photoshop for color matching
  • Export to PNG
  • Post it up here

You got some Howard Hughs ideas about what's spooky.
