1. What's your level of education?
High school. I dropped out of university twice. I'm at a music school and a music production school currently. 2. In an office environment, do you/would you/did you prefer open plan or partitioned off space? Partitioned. I'm not a big fan of people usually. Especially if I need to focus. 3. What does the voicemail on your phone currently say? "Yo. Speak" 4. What sound or smell evokes peace and relaxation for you? Only smells, no sounds Cooked beets Camellia Sinensis plants Springtime Warsaw smells in general And probably a few more, but I can't remember right now 5. Headaches and mild pain in general: stick it out or pills immediately? I rather wait. Pills only when it's unbearable. Like when I had four teeth removed. 6a. (For Americans only) How close, if at all, did a protest or march come to where you live? Racist. Up until two months ago I was living right next to the ministry of education, ministry of foreign affairs, ministry of justice, the constitutional court, the prime minister's office, the Vatican embassy, the Ukrainian embassy and a monument to a nationalist politician from the 20s, so with all the **** that's been going on in Poland for the last 6 years I had demonstrations pretty much every week right beside my windows. 6b. What's the loudest sound in your home at night? The guy who lives upstairs and likes to play techno at 3am. 1. Will there ever be a rainbow? I suppose they do happen quite often, so yes. Though I haven't seen one in a while. 2. Who's that girl running around with you? Yeah, I think I'm in love actually. So...she's my love interest. 3. How many roads must a man walk down before you can call him a man? None. It's a nice poetic sentence, but in real life makes no sense. It's like that old saying that a man becomes a man only after he had built a house, planted a tree and had a child. Sounds nice, but it's nonsense. 4. Have you seen her? Well, yes 5. What shall we do with the drunken sailor? Get drunk with him and listen to some stories. 6. If a picture paints a thousand words why can't I paint you? This is actually a pretty tough philosophical question that I don't feel can be covered here in a joking manner. See ya next week! More like "read ya" |

1. What's your level of education?
In Ireland, we go Primary School (7 - 11 maybe) then Secondary (up to 18) and after that college. I never finished Secondary, left at 17 to go to work fulltime in an office, a job I held for almost 30 years. 2. In an office environment, do you/would you/did you prefer open plan or partitioned off space? I appear to be one of the only ones who preferred the open-plan arrangement. I disliked being cut off from everyone else and the craic decreased exponentially. When you have to stand up and look over a partition to say "did you see the match last night" or whatever, you tend not to bother. Boo to partitions. What was it Obama, or someone, said? We need to be taking walls down, not building them? Not sure who it was, definitely not Trump. 3. What does the voicemail on your phone currently say? I really can't recall. Something like my name and then "you know what to do". Must be something else though as someone who rang me complimented me on the humour of my message. Shrug. 4. What sound or smell evokes peace and relaxation for you? Sound: falling rain, birdsong, church bells (those multiple ones like in Rome or in movies about Victorian London), the gentle screech of tyres as another robbed car streaks up the road.. wait, what? ![]() Smells: Freshly baked bread, that winter smell of smoke and fire on the air, that smell after the rain 5. Headaches and mild pain in general: stick it out or pills immediately? I almost never use tablets, so unless it's really bad I'll stick it out. 6a. (For Americans only) How close, if at all, did a protest or march come to where you live? 6b. What's the loudest sound in your home at night? Hard to say, but if I had to choose it's probably the tread of the insane murderer coming up the stairs dragging that heavy double-headed axe... And now, special FUN questions which make no sense! 1. Will there ever be a rainbow? ![]() 2. Who's that girl running around with you? I think she wants to kill me... 3. How many roads must a man walk down before you can call him a man? One, if he's a Protestant: the Falls Road. ![]() https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falls_Road,_Belfast 4. Have you seen her? I really need to get my eyes checked... 5. What shall we do with the drunken sailor? Keelhaul him and rob his booze. 6. If a picture paints a thousand words why can't I paint you? Because I'm out of art supplies and it's Sunday; all the shops are shut. See ya next week!

with a twist He was lone, young and inspired
And their numbers couldn't be counted by anyone With his song, he gave them strength He sang that the dawn is near A thousand candles burned in his name Smoke was rising above their heads He sang it's time the walls collapse And they sang along with him Rip the teeth out of the walls' mouth Break the chains, shatter the whip And the walls will fall, they'll fall, they'll fall And they'll bury the world of the past Rip the teeth out of the walls' mouth Break the chains, shatter the whip And the walls will fall, they'll fall, they'll fall And they'll bury the world of the past Soon, they all knew his song by heart And the melody, without the words Carried that old idea forth Sent shivers through hearts and heads And so they sang, and so they clapped Like a discharge did their applause sound And the chain seemed heavier and the dawn seemed to drag And he stiil sang and played Rip the teeth out of the walls' mouth Break the chains, shatter the whip And the walls will fall, they'll fall, they'll fall And they'll bury the world of the past (...) They teared down monuments, they teared the pavements up "This one's against us, and this one's with us" "The lone one is our greatest enemy" But the singer himself was alone He watched as the masses walked He stayed silent, listening to them march And the walls grew, they grew, they grew And the chain rocked by their feet He watched as the masses walked He stayed silent, listening to them march And the walls grew, they grew, they grew And the chain rocked by their feet |

1. Where were you when JFK was shot?
2. What's your favourite tipple (drink)? 3. What's your eyesight like? 4. Generally, do you trust people or are you always looking to see what their angle is? 5. If you could go on a date with one celebrity who would it be? 6. If you could be in - and survive - one historical battle which one would it be? And now, some nonsense questions again: 1. Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? 2. When will there be a harvest for the world? 3. Have you come here to play Jesus to the lepers in your head? 4. Why can't I get no Tang? 5. How can I protect you in this crazy world? 6. What do you want from me?

1. Where were you when JFK was shot?
Less than two years old. It was, however, my mother's 21st birthday. 2. What's your favourite tipple (drink)? I used to like Seven and Sevens, but have been a teetotaler for twenty years now 3. What's your eyesight like? Lousy. My left eye never was good and I have to wear prescription glasses for my right. 4. Generally, do you trust people or are you always looking to see what their angle is? It depends. I want to trust people but experiences have made me skeptical of motives at times, especially in the public arena. 5. If you could go on a date with one celebrity who would it be? Martha Quinn in the eighties 6. If you could be in - and survive - one historical battle which one would it be? None of them- I hate War!!!! And now, some nonsense questions again: 1. Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? Because I'm not anoerexic 2. When will there be a harvest for the world? Take two aspirin and call me in the morning 3. Have you come here to play Jesus to the lepers in your head? I have... lepers? 4. Why can't I get no Tang? Because the grocery store is out of it, dummy! 5. How can I protect you in this crazy world? Send thumbtacks 6. What do you want from me? I want an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle! (But, you'll shoot your eye out!) |

1. Where were you when JFK was shot?
On the grassy knoll of my mom's bush. 2. What's your favorite tipple (drink)? Punk Rock for Rich Kids 3. What's your eyesight like? I once had 20/20 vision, but a mind numbingly extensive career as a person involved in the world of all things IT has taken it's toll. 4. Generally, do you trust people or are you always looking to see what their angle is? I try to empathize with most people. 5. If you could go on a date with one celebrity who would it be? None of em. Look at me. I'm the center of attention now. 6. If you could be in - and survive - one historical battle which one would it be? Any one of these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06lyUXuQT_Y And now, some nonsense questions again: 1. Why do nerds suddenly appear every time you are near? Because derp. 2. When will there be a harvest for the world? Walp, Spotify's out. 3. Have you come here to play Jesus to the leprechauns in your head? Yes. I can turn a fish into a Shillelagh. 4. Why can't I get no Tang? Cuz you got to have the sweet poon and the wang dang first. 5. How can I protect you in this crazy world? Kevlar 6. What do you want from me? Better spelling.

1. Where were you when JFK was shot?
My mum wasn’t born yet so… 2. What's your favourite tipple (drink)? Assuming it’s alcoholic then vodka lemonade or cocktails. 3. What's your eyesight like? Quite decent but should use glasses for TV/driving but I haven’t in years and get on fine. 4. Generally, do you trust people or are you always looking to see what their angle is? I don’t think they necessarily have an angle but I don’t trust many people. 5. If you could go on a date with one celebrity who would it be? Ehh, Brad Pitt preferably from his fight club era or something similar but I don’t have many celebrity crushes. 6. If you could be in - and survive - one historical battle which one would it be? It’s got to be the battle of Bannockburn. And now, some nonsense questions again: 1. Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? One singular magpie because I’m unlucky. 2. When will there be a harvest for the world? I don’t think there will be one anytime soon. 3. Have you come here to play Jesus to the lepers in your head? Jesus lepers 4. Why can't I get no Tang? Like a knife tang? 5. How can I protect you in this crazy world? Can’t be done. 6. What do you want from me? That kitten
