Aww yes love I believe I even messaged on MB while I was in Antarctica! Makes me feel so much nostalgia. It was literally and still is literally the best experience of my life. I literally felt a spiritual connection to the land. I've never heard such quietness ever.

Ribbons you are literally the most gorgeous gorgeous woman ever! I could potentially reach out to them to discuss my time there. I could do a podcast, a Tedx talk, the ideas are endless! I am currently writing a novel that is set in Antarctica. I am trying to make it as unique as possible and I receive dreams to help me come up with the story line.

We (all ladies keen) will happily be the MB overlords, TH.

Love & hugs to ALL our coven members. And yes, we need much better representation here.
Not better, just a great number of representation. Love and spells to my coven sisters.

1. What is obsolete in your house? To qualify as obsolete it must be something that is never, or seldom, used now and which you could not, and should not expect to be able to buy. So vinyl records, books, coal fires etc would not qualify. It doesn’t have to work, and it can be in a collection if that’s your preference, but it should be something most people would look at and say “why do you have that?”

2. What’s the longest you ever spent in an ER/Emergency Dept/A&E dept of a hospital?

3. What’s your favourite mnemonic?

4. What is the most useless thing you own?

5. What’s the biggest DIY job you’ve ever undertaken?

6. How much do you swear? Not when angry - we all do that. But in general usage?

Man, I don't know. I have a lot of old stuff, but I don't know if it falls under obsolete. I'd say an old tape recorder but I don't think I even have that.

2. What’s the longest you ever spent in an ER/Emergency Dept/A&E dept of a hospital?

An ER before being sent home? About ten hours. It was in the middle of the Delta outbreak

3. What’s your favourite mnemonic? What's a mnemonic?

4. What is the most useless thing you own? A flashlight that doesn't work

5. What’s the biggest DIY job you’ve ever undertaken? I put together a cabinet once.

6. How much do you swear? Not when angry - we all do that. But in general usage? Very little actually. I only swear when I'm upset.

Probably some old cords in the cord drawer.

2. What’s the longest you ever spent in an ER/Emergency Dept/A&E dept of a hospital?

2 days with an intense yellow fever when I was five. They gave me a bunch of speed so that was pretty sweet.

3. What’s your favourite mnemonic?

FACE

4. What is the most useless thing you own?

Not sure, I have a lot of old clothes but use them as sweat rags which is pretty useful.

5. What’s the biggest DIY job you’ve ever undertaken?

Building a shack with power outlets.

6. How much do you swear? Not when angry - we all do that. But in general usage?

Depends on who I'm talking to. If they swear a lot, I'll swear more to better get my ideas across and vice versa. Generally it's a lot but not on a sailor level, I'd say in an hour long conversation I'll swear about five times. Fifty if it's about politics but I guess that's me being angry.

Serial printer cables.

2. What’s the longest you ever spent in an ER/Emergency Dept/A&E dept of a hospital?

Maybe an hour getting my head stitched up after a head-on crash.

3. What’s your favourite mnemonic?

Every good boy does fine.

4. What is the most useless thing you own?

See first answer above.

5. What’s the biggest DIY job you’ve ever undertaken?

I built a shelf once.

6. How much do you swear? Not when angry - we all do that. But in general usage?

A lot. Wtf.

Nearly every object in my home is 40-175 years old. And visitors often state that I "live in a museum." Most items are present for their artistic value, so if we count objets d'art as a function, they are not necessarily obsolete.

2. What’s the longest you ever spent in an ER/Emergency Dept/A&E dept of a hospital?

I spent the entirety of my formative teenage years living in the hospital system. It dramatically impacted my outlook on life and my dissociation from my generational peers as I was absent from all of the cultural touchstones of my youth.

3. What’s your favourite mnemonic?

I have two strong favorite acronyms (which is close enough) -

laser
and
taser

...the latter of which stands for "Thomas A. Swift’s Electric Rifle" based on the 1911 book of a similar name.

4. What is the most useless thing you own?

Despite my penchant for Victorian opulence, I embrace minimalism in my possessions, so very little of what I own is without use.

5. What’s the biggest DIY job you’ve ever undertaken?

I'm in the final stages of a massive 12-year solo undertaking, the news of which I hope to share soon.

6. How much do you swear? Not when angry - we all do that. But in general usage?

I know that I'm often prone to loquacious verbosity and grandiloquent or bombastically ostentatious language, so when I do opt to employ vulgarity it is used to great ****ing effect.

Without pointing you to a Wiki link, RS, a mnemonic is a phrase you use to remind you of something, ie, as Plankton has shown "Every Good Boy Does Fine" (also can be deserves favour/fruit) to remember the chord progression E-G-B-D-F. Or it could be the colours of the rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet, remembered by the mnemonic Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain. That sort of thing.

Nothing, I'm a student with just my own room so not that much place for stuff
2. What’s the longest you ever spent in an ER/Emergency Dept/A&E dept of a hospital?
For myself I've never been I think
3. What’s your favourite mnemonic?
I don't like mnemonics but if acronyms count then WIMP
4. What is the most useless thing you own?
Myself
5. What’s the biggest DIY job you’ve ever undertaken?
I once painted a table with the abbey road cover image as a teenager. Or rather I drew it with a marker actually
6. How much do you swear? Not when angry - we all do that. But in general usage?
Regularly. As much as I do when posting here I think. Maybe more because here I don't swear reflexively of course, which in real life I do a lot
