I am aware of the term hermaphrodite. I was simply alluding to the fact that not everyones world is so black and white. In a society where so much is based on your sexual identity and role, in some ways even more than it used to be... being happy to be different is a lot to ask. just saying that judgin' isnt cool, we have no idea of how serious this person's statement was and id say its a lot more...civilized (for lack of a better term) to assume much.
