1. What's the strangest thing that's ever happened to you?[/B]
Theres probably better ones but the one that comes to mind but would be a good few years ago after a pretty good drinking session with a couple of friends. We decided we wanted to walk to the kiddies park to play on the swings and the slide, as you do. So we walked there and on the way back, still drunk, we stopped next to a little housing estate. One of my friends was coming up with inventive ways to get a cheap laugh out of a traffic cone, the other (who i should probably point out at this point is female) was leaning against and posing on the bonnet (or hood) or a nearby parked car. We were generally just being very childish and mucking around. However we were doing this for a good 10 minutes or so, it was pitch black, the only light was from the street lamps, it was about 3 or 4am, the streets were completely silent and deserted. Then my friend thought she saw something move so asked us if there was somethingin the car a few feet away from us. We had a look and sure enough there was, there had been some guy sat in the car the entire time watching us at which point we pretty much bolted.

2. Your most embarrassing moment...
Again, theres probably better ones but theres one that comes to mind right away. 2 or 3 years back myself and a good mate of mine had been out on all the drink all day and towards the end of the night we werent ready to go home yet so we went to a little, shitty place in our town. You enter the building and just as you go in there is a bar open til 11ish and further through is the main nightclub open until early hours. We went in the bar, had a pint and I saw this girl I went to school with who knocked around with us for a little while afterwards, she also happens to be pretty smokin hot. I went and said hello, had a bit of a conversation with her, told her I would see her later and went back to my mate. We then went to get into the main club and they stopped us at the door, my mate was fearing a football top and they dont allow anyone wearing them inside. I suddenly realised it was OK, I was wearing BOTH a long sleeved top and a short sleeved shirt over the top so we leave and step outside. My mate pulls his football top off over his head and then realises he has nowhere to put it. In his infinite pissed wisdom he has an idea, undoes his belt and pulls his jeans down around his ankles. The plan being he can wrap the top around his waist, pull his jeans back up and put my shirt on so that we can get inside.

You know when you can just feel a presence behind you? You know someone has come outside right behind you and is currently watching you even if you can't see them for yourself. As we were outside together and I was unbuttoning my shirt while my mate had his shirt off and his trousers around his ankles I just knew that fit girl I was talking to was standing right behind me. I didn't even have to turn round.

3. What never fails to make you cry?
I dont know. I don't know if anything would consistently make me cry anymore.

4. What's your favorite getaway spot?
I wish I had one.

5. What was the last thing you ever got grounded for?
That was too long ago to remember. Probably skipping school.

6. Has a rumour ever been spread about you?
Not that i'm aware. There may have been rumours that I never found out about.

1. What genre of music do you dislike the most?
House

2. What genre of music do want to get into?
Ska Punk after seeing Snuff and Streetlight Manifesto at Reading Festival

3. What genre of music is your favourite?
The 'pre-dance/rap' hiphop era, any genre's a winner if the lyrics work

4. Do you use music as an emotional crutch or is it just a hobby?
My MSN status is always a 'mood' lyric but would go with hobby

5. Could you cope without music?
I could cope with there being no new music produced but couldn't take not ever hearing a song again.

Oops seems Im a little out of touch! TAKE TWO:
1. What's the strangest thing that's ever happened to you?
Last year at Reading I got trapped in a tent when some superhero jumped on it and broke all the poles - probably not the strangest thing ever but my memory sucks!

2. Your most embarrassing moment...
When, out of the goodness of my heart, I let a dog come to stay and he went through my bathroom bin, and delivered me and my housemates something, rather un-nutritional, I no longer had use for. They all felt a bit closer to me after that, perhaps the dog felt too close...

3. What never fails to make you cry?
I still well up at the odd moment in disney films.

4. What's your favorite getaway spot?
A nice drive down to a quiet beach

5. What was the last thing you ever got grounded for?
don't think I ever was

6. Has a rumour ever been spread about you?
not that I know of, so hopefully I'm gossip-free!

Heh nah I dont think I scored any points. Probably didn't help matters that once I had turned round the only words that came to mind were "It's not what it looks like!"

Yeah I have a laugh about it. I thought it was funny.

1. What's the strangest thing that's ever happened to you?

Hmm... A few months ago, I stopped at a Starbuck's with my sister because she wanted to get coffee. We went inside and were standing in line when a hunched over man wearing a robe type thing that I think he actually made out of animal furs approached us. He was probably about 75, 80 years old, and carried a big wooden walking stick easily as tall as he was. He started explaining to us that he was a Druid of some lake and that he was the protector of earth or something. It was bizzare.

2. Your most embarrassing moment...

I haven't the slightest idea. I have quite a few...

3. What never fails to make you cry?

I don't know that anything consistently makes me cry.

4. What's your favorite getaway spot?

Sadly, I can't think of a specific spot I go to when I need to get away. I guess my room? That makes me sound like an angsty teenager...

5. What was the last thing you ever got grounded for?

I haven't been grounded in a very long time. Maybe ditching school? Sneaking out when I had a curfew perhaps? Pretty sure it was one of those.

6. Has a rumour ever been spread about you?

I sure hope not. I've never been aware if there has been anyway.

New Zealand time difference is trippy... it's almost Sunday here!

1. Your favourite MusicBanter thread is...
I don't really have a particular favourite thread, but I probably like the members journals the most.

2. What big mistake have you made recently and what did you learn from it?
I superglued a pair of scissors to the table and learnt from it not to use superglue unless supervised by a (more responsible) adult.

3. What is your most prized possession and why do you value it so much?
Talking strictly tangible possessions I'd have to be cliche and say all of my photos, for obvious reasons. Also my piano because it's a really good model made in Germany a few decades ago and my parents bought it for me when I was about 8, so when I play it I am reminded of then even though they are on the opposite side of the world.

4. What is your worst childhood memory?
Bursting my eardrum when I was about 6 and having to wait in a hospital waiting room for hours before being seen. And all the subsequent surgeries that followed for years after.

5. What couldn't you do without?
The people I love.

6. What's the most money you've spent in one go and on what?
About $12,000AUD for my car a few years ago! I'd saved it up for an eternity and then it all went just like that.
