i dunno, it just seems some people on internet forums tend to idolize one another, especially when you're not really getting the big picture. I've heard of people meeting up from the same forum and it going badly. Then again it also sounds like a lot fun, just to mingle with everyone outside of these rectangles.

To be honest i would just want to see a bar full of people wearing t shirts with their avatar and username printed on them. Whatever happens after this point is not of importance.

Jackhammer gets a special t shirt. He can his avatar on the back if he wants but he's having the Jackhammer smiley on the front.

1. What MB member would you like to meet and why?
dac, so I could play him badly covered Radiohead songs, jackhammer and LoathsomePete because they are both genuinely nice guys with killer music collections, RezZ, because he just seems like an uber cool guy, cardboard adolescent to talk about all things philosophical, and wwwp 'cause I think she's got a great sense of humour and would make me giggle. And mr dave so he could play me some wicked bass. Honestly though, I'd love to meet everyone.

2. What would you change about MB if you could?
Nothing at the moment, I'm quite content.

3. Name a new MB mod and why choose this individual?
lucifer_sam and dac are two members who I think would make great mods. But I honestly can't say, there are too many potential candidates!

4. What turns you off about the opposite gender?
Chauvinism.

5. Do you believe in fate or is life a series of accidents?
Neither, I don't think life is a series of accidents so to speak, but I don't think fate controls us either. I like to think we have some control over our own destiny.

6. What makes you angry?
Animal cruelty, ignorance, bad drivers.

I've met people from the internet before, mainly people who I met through YouTube and didn't know them in real life. In most cases it went great and we all got along very well and are now great friends. But YouTube is different from forums I think because through YouTube you get more of an insight into their 'real life' personality whereas on a forum it is difficult to tell what somebody is like through only text.

I met with people from local forums, and I sort of became friends with a couple of members after the forum collapsed. I always bump into them in concerts and events as we have the same taste in music. Tho on another forum meeting, it was the most ridiculously long awkward silence I had ever witnessed. I think the problem was the lack of booze.

So from 5 forum meetings I've had, 4 of them were really fun and one was an utter disaster (well the forum was already dying, so none of the members came to that awkward meeting, except the mods, and we were all teenage introverts ... didn't work at all)

I never went to ones that were held on local forums, I was really young and shy, however I did meet the forum admin through sheer coincidence either that or he stalked me, one of the two. I pray this happens with Yac...
