1. You are the main protagonist of a comic book series. What's the series about?

Being trapped in a coma. I have an infatuation with what happens to the mind of a person trapped in a coma. Kinda like "Wristcutters: A Love Story" but not as quirky. More dark.

2. What is your perfect weekend evening?

Dinner, Film, Beer.

3. What was your most recent injury and how did it happen?

OH BOY. Well, last weekend I got f*cking wasted from drinking too much whiskey, found a wooden pallet, put it on a fire in the field of the cabin I stay at, and tried to surf it. I jumped on the side of the pallet with nothing under it, the pallet gave way and I landed on my right leg which was extended. I simultaneously twisted my right ankle and hyperextended my knee. My knee still hurts like **** but I'm too broke for a doctor so I'm waiting it out. We'll see what happens.

4. If you could meet any one of your idols, who would it be and what would you do?

I'd have a cigarette and talk music and art with Tom Waits.

5. Who was the last person tell you they loved you?

Friend who I hadn't seen in a while told me this last night. I miss her dearly.

6. Where's your favorite place to hang out by yourself and get some alone time?

Movie theater. I usually go alone.

I've seen mostly all the films of the last two years by myself. That has included a lot of great ****. I cried like a bitch in "her". It was nice not to have a dude or ladyfriend next to me seeing me emotional. I don't care about the other patrons. They can suck it.

1. You are the main protagonist of a comic book series. What's the series about?
I have this idea about a young musician who has had some success and decided to try and meet all of his idols, the people that influenced him and shaped his work. When he tracks them all down they turn out extremely dark and unsettling.

2. What is your perfect weekend evening?
I hate myself for being this boring but probably getting steaming with friends and a nice soundtrack. That or seeing a good live band.

3. What was your most recent injury and how did it happen?
I banged my head to an extreme walking out of a low level shop. Properly headered a concrete wall. This happens a lot. I'm clumsy and tall.

4. If you could meet any one of your idols, who would it be and what would you do?
I'd be scared to meet most of my idols, not even because I wouldn't know what to say but because I'm scared they'd disappoint me. For instance Woody Allen is a hero of mine and one of my biggest influences as a writer and filmmaker - but with allegations in the media it pains me to think that someone like that has managed to have such a profound impact on me.
I'd probably meet Paul Thomas Anderson or Stuart Murdoch from Belle And Sebastian because I both adore their work and seem to have a lot I could talk to them about.
I'd be terrified to meet David Bowie or Bob Dylan or David Lynch. Terrified.

5. Who was the last person tell you they loved you?
I actually don't know. And that kind of hurts. But I can't remember the last time I said it to somebody either. I'm not very open.

6. Where's your favorite place to hang out by yourself and get some alone time?
The ocean. Anywhere quiet with a beautiful view. I live in Dundee so either down to the Tay or up a hill called The Law suffices.

I love you guys too. I wish I had it in me to say that to my family, we're a classic stoic Scottish clan.

The **** do you think? Batman. And yes, I realize the question wasn't asking what comic book hero I wanted to be. The answer is still Batman.

2. What is your perfect weekend evening?

If with buds, drinking, moshing, and vomiting. Preferably in that order. If alone, sitting on my ass and reading comic books, playing video games, or listening to music is pretty much all I aspire to.

I'm going to assume that "getting steaming with friends" is a common phrase in Scotland that means going to get something to eat with your friends, and doesn't sound nearly as erotic as it does to me.

3. What was your most recent injury and how did it happen?

I can't even remember the last time I was injured. If a sunburn counts it would have been last week.

4. If you could meet any one of your idols, who would it be and what would you do?

Mark Hamill is actually becoming more beloved to me every day. A lot of the people I look up to in music or whatever have a good chance of ending up being dicks (I love Dave Mustaine as a musician, but I worry that I would have to chuck out all my Megadeth albums if I had to hear him go on a rant about Obama), but every time I see an interview with him he just seems like the coolest guy ever, and truly one of us nerd. And I'd die happy if I could get the Joker to address me personally.

5. Who was the last person tell you they loved you?

Either my mother or my grandmother. I see my mother a lot more, but we're not really all that emotionally showy. Unlike my grandmother. Only person who ever hugs me she is.

6. Where's your favorite place to hang out by yourself and get some alone time?

Bedroom. It's my cave. The only place on Earth where the outside world has no presence. Except for the internet of course. *chucks computer out the window*

My family's Irish, and if anyone of us ever said the "L" word to each other I imagine it would be followed by an awkward silence.
