In a scene depicting your love/hate relationship with Taco Bell:

So you decide to make your own food instead:

An artist to paint your portrait?
I'm not well-versed in art, but Vincent van Gogh paints pretty pictures.

An author to write your biography?
Probably H.P. Lovecraft. He'd make it seem messed up and overly dramatic.

A director to record you life to screen?
I'm really not a movie guy, so I don't know anything about directors. However, I'd like to see what happened if a foreigner with minimal English skills made a B-movie about my life based on the biography Lovecraft wrote.

A musician to sing a song about your life?
Manowar should make a concept album about me.

Favorite gift you ever gave someone for Christmas?
Duct tape and matches.

Favorite gift you ever received for Christmas?
I don't know, my memory is rubbish. I got some pretty decent headphones last year.

 Thank you so much for this!

An artist to paint your portrait?

Pablo Picasso. As a small child I had a book with his collected works, as well as a few short biographies. His desire to get "outside the box" and to pursue his own thing influenced me to do the same. I can thank Picasso for a lot of my own pursuit of weirdness, and I'll forever be grateful.

An author to write your biography?

Jack Kerouac. His wordiness and somewhat ironic pretentious pursuit of being down to earth sits well with me.

A director to record you life to screen?

Christopher Nolan, because I want to be a somewhat deep movie that is in actuality a very shallow way for the masses to pretend to be smart.

A musician to sing a song about your life?

Nick Cave, that way I'll sound like I should be locked up.

Favorite gift you ever gave someone for Christmas?

I gave my girlfriend a beautiful handmade journal last year. I genuinely think it may be the only truly good Christmas gifts I've ever given.

Favorite gift you ever received for Christmas?

I dunno... I'm not really a gift person, so I can never remember the ones I've gotten. I got Fallout 3 back when it came out at Christmas, that game gave me a lot of hours of entertainment. So maybe that.

So maybe it's a little early but hey, idt we had one last week so there you go:

A song to describe your 2014?

Achievement of the year?

Letdown of the year?

Favorite artistic experience of the year?

What do you want to accomplish by the end of next year?

Thing you like to avoid most next year?

A song to describe your 2014?

2014 sucked so much but this song reminds me that there's more to look forward to:

Achievement of the year?

Got a job that I actually like. I can still do better but for the time being I'm very happy with it.

Letdown of the year?

Too many to count, really. This year sucked but next year's looking promising.

Favorite artistic experience of the year?

Seeing the Keith Haring exhibit reminded me that I need to make art again.

What do you want to accomplish by the end of next year?

See more different cities. Austin, Texas; NYC, NY; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR (again); Gainesville, FL (for Fest2015, maybe)

Thing you like to avoid most next year?

Anything but STDs can pretty much come at me hard as they like. I'm immortal, I'll cut that **** to shreds. One of the scariest times of 2014 was thinking I caught warts but nope, s'all gravy baby.

A song to describe your 2014?
I've posted it in my journal, but probably the Beatles' "The Long and Winding Road".

Achievement of the year?
Made a rep baseball team this fall; we'll be practicing throughout the winter.

Letdown of the year?
My parents divorcing.

Favorite artistic experience of the year?
Do concerts count? Seeing Billy Joel on March 9th was my first stadium rock concert and the highlight of my year.

What do you want to accomplish by the end of next year?
Second base. ;)

Thing you like to avoid most next year?
Cliques.
