Haven't done one of these in a while.

Do you have any albums that you know forwards, backwards, and upside down? If yes, which is one of your favourites?
This is basically asking me which is my favourite album. My answer is Disintegration by The Cure.

What's your favourite album from this year so far? If you don't have one yet then pick your favourite from last year.
Steven Wilson - Hand. Cannot. Erase. Other than that the new Bjork and Mount Eerie are really good.

Pick a song that represents how you act when you're nervous.
Portishead - Silence. Or pretty much all of Third.

Loudest show you've ever seen?
Some local all-ages show when I was younger. Loud P.A. in a small room can never be good for your hearing.

Why not just have a louder ten?
Because fuck you that's why.

What was your favourite hobby ten years ago? Is it different from your favourite hobby today?
I was bigger into gaming ten years ago, not so much now. My hobbies today would be coding and writing.

Darkness on the Edge of Town, but I could say the same of Who's Next.

What's your favourite album from this year so far? If you don't have one yet then pick your favourite from last year.
Matana Roberts, Viet Cong, Bjork, or Screaming Females.

Pick a song that represents how you act when you're nervous.
I had a great one for this, but I forgot it. I'm very awkward all the time though.

Loudest show you've ever seen?
Nick Cave.

Why not just have a louder ten?
Eleven's one louder, isn't it?

What was your favourite hobby ten years ago? Is it different from your favourite hobby today?
I would have just turned five, so I guess it was reading - I was really into Harry Potter from the ages of four through seven or eight. Now I'd say my favorite hobby is listening to music, so yes.

I really liked drinking heavily and railing pills. Now I like making music and getting wine drunk once a month.

So go to at least one metal or punk show so you at least have a better answer than Billy ****ing Joel.

I've never been to a metal or punk show (well, Elvis Costello is punk as fuck though) and even my answer was better than Billy Joel.

Asaf Avidan - Gold Shadow

Pick a song that represents how you act when you're nervous.

Loudest show you've ever seen?

I've not been to many, but Cage the Elephant were mightily loud and awesome.

Why not just have a louder ten?

Because louder.

What was your favourite hobby ten years ago? Is it different from your favourite hobby today?

My favourite hobby was watching Wrestling, and being a fan in general. I still take a keen interest in the sport, but it's now either listening to music or watching soccer.

There are a few that I know very intimately, but here's a few that mean a lot to me.

Strapping Young Lad - City (1997)
Iggy & the Stooges - Raw Power (1973)
Isis - Panopticon (2004)
Carcass - Necroticism - Descanting The Insalubrious (1991)

Out of those 4, I'd say that City is my favorite, although that has a lot of personal emotions and shit attached to it, so rose-tinted glasses and whatnot.

What's your favourite album from this year so far? If you don't have one yet then pick your favourite from last year.

Melecesh - Enki although I suspect that will change when the new Enslaved album comes out, and then there's still quite a bit more to come that I'm interested in. It's looking like 2015 will make up for the rather lackluster 2013-2014, at least for me.

Pick a song that represents how you act when you're nervous.

Loudest show you've ever seen?

Opeth in 2005 when they got Gene Hoglan to drum for them.

Why not just have a louder ten?

Why not Zoidberg?

What was your favourite hobby ten years ago? Is it different from your favourite hobby today?

Playing guitar, smoking weed, and playing video games.

10 years later I (mostly) dropped the weed part, so no, not much difference.
