The only part that's better about being beardless is how much easier it is to eat. I used to eat tuna sandwiches and bite my moustache, without it I can just stick it in my mouth. With beards, you have to be careful not to bite your facial hair.

Game.

Are you nostalgic for the past or eager for the future?

You can only wear one shirt for the rest of your life. What does it say on it? Or does it not say anything at all?

East or West coast? If you haven't been to one or either, what the f*ck are you doing with your life? If you're not in the US, you can guess as to which you'd like best.

What's your worst personal tragedy? You can omit this if you choose to do so. I wanted a stinger in here.

Are you glad that winter is over or could you give less of a sh*t?

If you could swap music taste/knowledge with on person on MB, who would it be?

Eager for the future.

You can only wear one shirt for the rest of your life. What does it say on it? Or does it not say anything at all?

Nothing at all.

East or West coast? If you haven't been to one or either, what the f*ck are you doing with your life? If you're not in the US, you can guess as to which you'd like best.

West Coast. I'd happily live in BC or Washington state.

What's your worst personal tragedy? You can omit this if you choose to do so. I wanted a stinger in here.

My parents splitting up last year.

Are you glad that winter is over or could you give less of a sh*t?

I'm glad.

If you could swap music taste/knowledge with on person on MB, who would it be?

Lisna, LiL, or Nea. All of them have great taste.

Are you nostalgic for the past or eager for the future?

Both. My life is built around feeding my nostalgic longings but things are really good right now.

You can only wear one shirt for the rest of your life. What does it say on it? Or does it not say anything at all?

It says nothing. It's just a paisley print of multiple shades of pink.

East or West coast? If you haven't been to one or either, what the f*ck are you doing with your life? If you're not in the US, you can guess as to which you'd like best.

West coast is the best coast.

What's your worst personal tragedy? You can omit this if you choose to do so. I wanted a stinger in here.

When the recession hit (2008) I lost my car, my jobs (I had three of them at the same time in a vain attempt to make ends meet), and my then-fiance, pretty much all within a few months. Since then I've been careful with my finances (even stingy) and have learned to completely appreciate everything I have.

Are you glad that winter is over or could you give less of a sh*t?

I'm pretty glad about it, as I don't like being cold, but I know the rain's gonna hit soon.

If you could swap music taste/knowledge with on person on MB, who would it be?

Definitely Nea.

Are you nostalgic for the past or eager for the future?
both. i assume you mean nostalgic for eras of the past i didn't get to see? there are plenty of eras i would love to see. mostly in the ancient world. there's something alluring to me about ancient pagan religion. especially when they had orgies and ****ed up rituals like in the cult of dionysus.
Quote:
In contrast with the daytime festivities of the Athenian Dionysia were the biennial nocturnal rites of the Tristeria, held on Mount Parnassus in winter. These celebrated the emergence of Dionysus from the underworld, with orgies (orgia) in the mountains. The first day was presided over by the Maenads in their state of Mainomenos (madness), during which animals—and perhaps humans—were hunted, torn apart with bare hands and eaten raw. This was the Sparagmos, once associated with goat sacrifice and marking the harvest (and trampling) of the vine. The second day saw the Bacchic nymphs in their Thyiadic (or raving) state. Although still orgiastic, this was a more sensual and benign bacchanal (assisted by satyrs). Mythographers claim that the Maenads (or wild women) resisted the Bacchic urge and were driven mad, while the Thyiades (or ravers) accepted the Dionysian ecstasy and kept their sanity.
Dionysian Mysteries - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

too gangster.

of course i also would love to see how the future unfurls. the rapid trends in technological progress are especially exciting/interesting to me. the most interesting issues for me are:

combating climate change/the future energy infrastructure
space colonization and tourism
the prospect of a real all out war between 2 real nuclear powers/ww3
artificial intelligence/robots

never been to the west, lol. would like to go. will do some time in the near/distant future. the west coast looks pretty amazing though, i have a feeling it's better than the east coast just from seeing it in movies and ****.

my dad died. i coped with it fine, though. don't want to skip the question but i don't want my answer to be depressing either.

Are you glad that winter is over or could you give less of a sh*t?
glad. and i live in the south..

If you could swap music taste/knowledge with on person on MB, who would it be?
probably frownland, out of curiosity more than anything else. but i wouldn't want it to be permanent. no offense frownland. just a week or so of hearing **** as frownland and then back to listening to thuggery over electronic beats.

I love music from the past, but i'm also eager to see where music goes next. If I had to pick one though, nostalgic for the past.

You can only wear one shirt for the rest of your life. What does it say on it? Or does it not say anything at all?

Judas Priest album art.

East or West coast? If you haven't been to one or either, what the f*ck are you doing with your life? If you're not in the US, you can guess as to which you'd like best.

I've lived on the East Coast my whole life. It's not so bad, but I live right next to an area full of moneybags who are basically Southern Californians (they work here but have summer homes in the west, they dress and talk like douche bags, they have a horrible sense of self-entitlement, etc.). No offense to Southern Californians, but I don't think I'd enjoy the lifestyle very much. Anyway, I still pick the West Coast, because if I have to miserable, I might as well be warm.

What's your worst personal tragedy? You can omit this if you choose to do so. I wanted a stinger in here.

Nothing comes to mind. I guess i'm still pretty innocent.

Are you glad that winter is over or could you give less of a sh*t?

Wolverinewolfweiselpigeon. Really interesting taste and style, but I almost never plug with her. I thought about picking Neapolitan, but then I realized that I don't have to swap with him because we already plug so often together!

Are you nostalgic for the past or eager for the future?

I strive to embrace the finest elements from the past and combine them with the technologies of the present while remaining optimistic and looking toward the possibilities of the future. I've an affinity for ornamental typefaces and design, Elizabethan/Edwardian craftsmanship, antiquarian literature, and 20th century music, but get a thrill from cataloging and creating data visualizations from library metadata. And our increasing interconnectedness and greater access to information make our future look bright.

You can only wear one shirt for the rest of your life. What does it say on it? Or does it not say anything at all?

My poet's shirt. It's practical - breathes easily in summer and layers well with a velvet sportscoat for fall and spring. For winter, simply add a wool marching band jacket and you're off. Also a fair expression of my classy b*stardness.

East or West coast? If you haven't been to one or either, what the f*ck are you doing with your life? If you're not in the US, you can guess as to which you'd like best.

I've lived in NY all my life, but I'd love to have seen Terry Riley at Berkeley in 1961 and Stockhausen at University of California in 1966. Still, both lectured at University at Buffalo. NY during the same years...

What's your worst personal tragedy?

As 13 I was dropped off at an asylum for 5 years. Not one visit, not one Christmas or birthday, and no education for the most formative years of my life. Independent study sufficed, and I graduated valedictorian with the highest marks of any student in the history of the school. As a result of the whole mess, I don't remember much of anything before age 25. But despite the challenges of my youth I believe I emerged a well-adjusted, competent, independent, and successful individual.

How's that?

Are you glad that winter is over or could you give less of a sh*t?

I walk/bike to the office every day. Buffalo winter was cruel this year, and I'm glad to bid it farewell.

If you could swap music taste/knowledge with on person on MB, who would it be?

Frownland. His name is lifted from one of the most important records ever recorded. That's enough for me.

Are you nostalgic for the past or eager for the future?

Bit of both, but more the former.

You can only wear one shirt for the rest of your life. What does it say on it? Or does it not say anything at all?

Would be a normal well fitting shirt. #boringbastard

East or West coast? If you haven't been to one or either, what the f*ck are you doing with your life? If you're not in the US, you can guess as to which you'd like best.

From what I've seen, west, as I prefer hot weather, and it seems like there'd be more things there that I'd be interested in. East has NY but I don't care too much for big cities.

I don't know shit about the US though so that's all I can say really.

What's your worst personal tragedy? You can omit this if you choose to do so. I wanted a stinger in here.

I am very lucky as both my parents and my sister are all still alive and will hopefully be for many years to come, I've never had any serious health issues and I've never been homeless so not much to complain about. Getting expelled from school at 13 then not getting into another one wasn't great though. Shit education but I'm trying to put that right now

Are you glad that winter is over or could you give less of a sh*t?

Probably glad it's over, I like all the seasons but around this time of year when the sun starts coming out a bit more, and the flowers are growing and it smells nice outside, I just feel a bit more optimistic about everything and have more of a spring in my step

If you could swap music taste/knowledge with on person on MB, who would it be?

There are too many posters with 5* knowledge to name one.

Are you nostalgic for the past or eager for the future?

Nostalgic for some elements of the past. Not eager for the future at all.

You can only wear one shirt for the rest of your life. What does it say on it? Or does it not say anything at all?

Nothing. Words are annoying.

East or West coast? If you haven't been to one or either, what the f*ck are you doing with your life? If you're not in the US, you can guess as to which you'd like best.

What the **** am I doing with my life? Not travelling, I can tell you that much. I choose west anyway.

What's your worst personal tragedy? You can omit this if you choose to do so. I wanted a stinger in here.

Myself.

Are you glad that winter is over or could you give less of a sh*t?

**** sunshine. Winter should never end.

If you could swap music taste/knowledge with on person on MB, who would it be?

I dunno to be honest. I don't know anyone very well. A lot of people with good taste here, but I love what I love too much to swap it out.
