You are avoiding the question. Would you walk up to and tell a parent that they were raising their child wrong? Black parents are an example because they are an example of poor families who have a culturally conservative approach to parenting that does not include liberal white parenting theory.

What you are talking about is educating an entire class of human beings who do not hold your views that they are parenting wrong. Black parents are a very good example of this because they are predominantly lower class, culturally conservative, and middle class white people are highly sensitive to the idea of treating them like people who need to be told what to do because they simply don't know any better.

Oppressive yes, but I'd say more that it's nearly impossible for someone from another culture to tell someone that what they're doing might not be the best way to do things. Especially when there is a history of power disparity, because there is simply no way to divorce the "mansplaining" from that power disparity.

Edit: What if you lived somewhere where the public schools refused to teach evolution and they only taught creationism and they segregated class rooms by race and they wouldn't allow black people to go with white people to the prom?

Yeah no that's really the point. You're telling parents how to raise their children. You don't think they take that personally? I mean hitting your kids sucks ass, but plenty of people don't see it that way and hit their kids believing it to be perfectly fine and even the moral way to raise children. You think they won't get pissed when you tell them that they're guilty of child abuse?
