Deadpool. Plays the jester both to seek attention and to keep others at a distance. Treats the world as a joke as a defense mechanism so he can ignore his intense alienation. At least until his defenses are even mildly poked at which point he flips his **** and becomes an irrational psycho.

He's not even my fav fictional character by any stretch but man does he hit uncomfortably close to home when he's written properly and not just as a two dimensional punchline.

Got drunk a couple weeks ago and bought a BLM shirt and now I feel weird about wearing it cause I've never done anything for black people.

2. Mick Kelly/Frankie Addams from the Carson McCullers books (they're basically the same character to me) which is pretty obvious I guess
