Our backgrounds are similar, Nea. Could we be distant kin transplanted to Musicbanterland?

1. Go to your bookshelves (or wherever you keep books), close your eyes and randomly grab a book. Open to page 30 and quote the first full sentence on the page.

2nd Witch - Show me show me.

2. You can keep only 3 books for the rest of your life. Which would they be?

Pragmatic Philosophy (if I could find it again, I'd list the author)
Heinlein - Stranger In A Strange Land
George O. Head - AutoLisp In Plain English (sentimental reasons)

3. What is your ethnic background?

Phytoplankton

4. Describe one of the most embarrassing moments in your life.

My Mom made me get a perm when I was in 5th grade. I looked like a ****ing poodle.

5. What is your ultimate comfort food?

Mashed potato's.

6. What is the last film you watched in the theater?

The Mule (Clint Eastwood 2018)

You'd think so, but it just caused me grief and the brunt of a few jokes. Kids are mean. I was so relieved when it finally grew out. It was comparable to Ralphie and the Bunny suit.

Yes, kids can be very cruel. I absolutely hate that and any type of bullying. If I'd ever seen those characteristics in my children, they'd be grounded pronto. I think it's a serious matter because being shamed or made fun of is something you never forget.

My parents (mother and step-dad) made fun of everyone that wasn't like them and it killed me as a kid to have to be under the same roof as that crap. They'd even go to the mall down the street just to make fun of people. It was insane. All of that **** stopped with me.

I know what you mean - my mother's side of the family (with a couple of exceptions, like my late aunt) was/is like that too. My father's side of the family is the total opposite. Glad you put a stop to that.

Um, why do you think Hanna is getting married? Did I miss something? Isn't she still quite young?
