Tie between jazz fusion and doom metal.

I'm not allowed to have favourites...

So where does the "would you like" part come into this?

5. If you could change one thing about MusicBanter what would it be?
Search could do with some improvement.

The sheer quality and balance of it - where else on the net can you find a music forum like this? Enough pontification though...

Happy hardcore

More 20th century classical. And industrial.

Prog rock

Both I guess, although I've always seen it as an obsession rather than a hobby.

But I'm finding that I have less time nowadays to listen to music (especially with full attention as I'd prefer), so I suppose it's more of a hobby atm.

5. Could you cope without music?
Nope and I know this from experience. Somehow I managed to forget my subwoofer twice last year when going back to uni in Auckland from home - I had to get my mum to send it down as my speakers don't work at all without the sub... so no music for 1-2 weeks both times.

I listen to Rap most, so that'd probably be it.

Mainstream RnB, and Soulja boy 'Crunk' rap. Although thats less of a genre preference, and more 'there's a few artists here I ****ing despise'

Anything I'm not into already.

Do I have to pick? I listen to some crazy ****.

The opposite actually. I use music as a form of emphasis. When I'm depressed I'll listen to Radiohead. Not because it helps me feel better but because anything else is so badly off kilter with me that it makes me feel worse.
