For mother's day one year I had one of my hot guy friends make my mom chicken alfredo shirtless. We still tell stories about how it would have been better if he didn't talk.

The Recommendation Game thread I started, it's taken off a little bit and not to toot my own horn but I think it was a badass idea.

6. How's your relationship with your father?
Awesome, kinda. We have a great time when we hang out, he's a really fun dude who has never judged me too harshly. Just wish he didn't act like a moody teenage girl every time I don't answer a text message.

Well, after Exoskeletal made my photoset into a meme I eventually produced the aforementioned Paul gif.

6. How's your relationship with your father?

Well I forgot to call him on Father's Day. And his birthday a few weeks ago. I don't know, there was a period during my mid-teens where I completely cut him out of my life and sorta forgot he existed, and I'm still in the habit of not communicating with him. I'm going to see him for the first time since my thirteenth birthday next month. I just turned twenty.

****. My dad's never been in my life, and I've always wondered what it'd be like to talk to him for the first time, so I can imagine how surreal that might feel. Good luck with that. Absentee parents make about as big of an impact on someone's life as anything can.

Superficial at best. I'm a constant disappointment to him and he never fails to remind me of it. The only things I ever did to make him proud was lose a bunch of weight in my teens and marry a guy with a trust fund (we've since divorced)
