An artist to paint your portrait?

Salvador Dali

An author to write your biography?

I would say James Joyce because he would make it bat**** crazy, but I actually think I'm going to go with Hunter S. Thompson.

A director to record you life to screen?

My sense of humour can be dark, I feel like the Coen Bros could capture that very well.

A musician to sing a song about your life?

Christophe Bassett

Favorite gift you ever gave someone for Christmas?

This year my sister and I are getting my dad a cigar box guitar kit (cigar box included) since he's starting to get into woodworking and is a musician. He's going to love it I bet.

Favorite gift you ever received for Christmas?

My family had temporarily adopted one of my dad's friend's dogs because the other option was to put him down or the friend being evicted. We were trying to find him a home, but he was a little older so it was hard to find someone willing to take him. During that time my sister and I got really attached to Mojo and Santa gave us a bag of dog food with a note saying that we could keep him.

A few years ago, I was able to get some old slides and a slide projector from my uncle, which I cleaned up and gave to my Dad (the slides were of different points in his life, and he hadn't seen them in years)

Favorite gift you ever received for Christmas?
Last year, I got a pretty decent guitar for christmas. I've made good use of it.

An artist to paint your portrait?

Norman Rockwell.

An author to write your biography?

I can't think of one. I really can't.

A director to record you life to screen?

David Lynch.

A musician to sing a song about your life?

I'd only trust Ron Mael of Sparks to write the perfect song about my life.

Favorite gift you ever gave someone for Christmas?

Christmases and birthdays of the past 10 years have pretty much meshed together but I remember giving something like "Grumpy Cat's Guide to Life" or whatever to two different people last year.

Favorite gift you ever received for Christmas?

Last year my little sister sent me the 3DS with the new Animal Crossing & Pokemon so that was pretty awesome.

An artist to paint your portrait?

Guess...

An author to write your biography?

Chuck Palahniuk. Because it could use some flair.

A director to record you life to screen?

Tim Burton. Because that would actually be interesting visually, even in the absence of interesting content.

A musician to sing a song about your life?

Wesley Willis. Because it would be far too pretentious any other way.

Favorite gift you ever gave someone for Christmas?

Back when I was monetarily frivolous, computers and car audio systems for my siblings. The unexpect was strong. These days, I just enjoy keeping my ears open and getting something that shows it.

Favorite gift you ever received for Christmas?

Two 8-packs of paper towels. I didn't have to buy paper towels for the longest time, and I freak the fuck out when I run out of paper towels.

A musician to sing a song about your life?

Favorite gift you ever gave someone for Christmas?

Believe it or not, Billy Joel tickets for my grandma. She had no idea he was coming to Toronto. It was one hell of a show, too.

Favorite gift you ever received for Christmas?

If you don't stop talking to yourself, people are going to think you're crazy.

I'm not sure if I should laugh for feel sorry for you..

An artist to paint your portrait?

Toulouse Lautrec! I quite like his art and think we would've gotten along well, what with his devious penchant for cocktails and debauchery.

An author to write your biography?

Ooft! I feel kinda lame now because it's been said already but I was thinking Hunter S. Thompson too. Or Hemingway. Maybe the two could do a collaborative effort? That'd be neat.

A director to record you life to screen?

I'm really not sure. It's my question so I should be but eh.

A musician to sing a song about your life?

FIDLAR already pretty much do.

Favorite gift you ever gave someone for Christmas?

Hmmm.... well, as a kid I always made cards and drew the designs and whathaveyou. As a teen I pretty much had no one to give gifts to anyways. Now I've gotten back into a habit of making people things. Hopefully this year's treats are as well-received.

Favorite gift you ever received for Christmas?

My very first skateboard at 10 years old. It was awesome.

Whichever you eventually decide on is still less important to me than paper towels.
