I've been single all my life.

No, but it definitely is something i judge people on.

Definitely.

No female musicians really appeal to me in that way.

10 years younger. It was a disaster.

No, but if it's particularly bad then I do tend to think of them as being a bit slow in the head.

Most of the guys I've dated have been at least 3 years older than me.

No, because I don't base my relationships on something as trivial as musical preferences, but if you like what I like we might have a better chance of becoming friends.

Judging from the dream I had last night I'm gonna go ahead and say no.

Hell no. But it's better if we have something in common musically, because I feel uncomfortable when I'm listening to something I love and know other people around me don't like.

Not really. I do have a bad habit of thinking less of people I meet who say 'I just listen to whatever's in the charts' though.

Most of the dreams I've had that I can remember made absolutely no sense, so I wouldn't think so myself.

Not solely, definitely not. However if someone listens to purely top 40 stuff it usually affects their personally and I don't connect with them at all.

Just the subconscious...which is obvious. But the subconscious is a powerful thing.

4. If you could date any musician past or present, who would it be?
That's a tough one...I don't usually listen to many female musicians. There are some hot pop stars but I dislike their music so I wouldn't want to date them. <goes to look through "The Most Beautiful Female Musician" thread...not that it's all about beauty but it's a start> Ok that wasn't too helpful but I think Jenny Lewis is very attractive and seems down to earth, though I don't listen to her music. She's someone I could introduce to my mom. Christina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil is also hot and seems good and kinky, but I'd be more reluctant to introduce her to my mom. Again I don't listen to her music, but that's fine, at least neither are top 40 trash. I don't think either of them are my ideal choice, I'm just not fixated on any particular female musician so I can't come up with anything else at the moment. They will have to do.

No, people can listen to what they like. I step in when they start making outrageous statements about it. Just because you like something doesn't mean it's good. Take that from someone who still openly admits to listening to Kiss & Motley Crue.
