I worked during 3 years of high school, and I wish I didn't, especially as I was already making money from business ventures.
To be honest, you don't need much money when you're living at home and at high school. Your time can be better spent with mates, (in some people's cases) doing schoolwork, or bird-doggin' chicks and bangin' beaver. Seriously though, high school years are some of the best of your life (probably sounds naive as I'm only going on 20). Of course it depends on your situation... but I think the ideal situation is to work perhaps 5 hours a week after school, so that you have enough money to buy necessary things, but it doesn't intrude on your life. And if you really need money (for uni etc), work in the summer hols. |

Working young is dumb and horrible, and I don't know why I do it....except I think I got fired....but I'm not sure
