pfft, he has no point. You are perfectly fine the way you are as long as you are comfortable with your body.

Thanks man...yeah, I know. It was more an off-handed comment than a serious one. Now off to find some breakfast...

If the same string breaks in the same spot consistently, it could be burrs on the bridge sadle or nut. Note where and which one is breaking, and do some light sanding accordingly.

Of course if you have to sleep on your side cause your gut is asphyxiating you in your sleep then it may be time to think about Jenny Craig.

Some things really piss me off, mainly when it's to do with people in general, and manners.

At my college, as well as the course I am taking we do little things like CV building and excercises. I was asked just now if I had already done this particular excercise and I said I thought so, so the instructor told me to check and if I had finished it, we would print it. It took me all of ten seconds to find this document, but this time she had walked away.

She was now talking to the guy who sits directly infront of me. They werent talking about work as such, he needs to get some ID before he can take an exam, and they were talking about his efforts to get this.

I sat there for a full twenty five minutes, while she chatted away, all of seven feet away from me. Arms folded, or leaning back in my chair, and even nervously rapping my knuckles on the desk by the end, especially when she finally pulled up a chair to sit next to him. When she finally came back, she said that the document was fine, I made two minor adjustments to the document, which took a maximum of two minutes and printed it off.

Twenty five minutes. I know someone people would think of this as insignificant or unimportant, but I can't even begin to explain how angry this made me.

Why didn't you just say something?

You'd need to see and hear the chat to understand, maybe. Plus I could tell from the way she occasionally looked in my direction that she hadn't forgotten, so it just gets to the point where my stubbornness will invariably take over.

No, I don't agree. That's just rude. You should have said something like "Miss (do you say things like that still?) I'm ready now" or "I think that's okay now" or even "When you're ready..." and look meaningfully at her. It's not on: it's like you ring someone, they get another call, ask you to hang on and then come back to you like ten minutes later! Look after the person you were dealing with first! It's only manners, unless you're taking the old biblical quote "The last shall be first" too literally....

I remember being in the fourth or fifth grade and being part of a group of kids being led through the hall by a teacher, and she started talking to some random guy in the halls and had us sit on a bench. She then proceeded to talk to this guy for at least fifteen minutes while at least ten nine-ten year olds just died of boredom on a bench, unable to go anywhere.
