Don't forget sledding, skiing, hockey, snowboarding, building snow forts, snowball fights, and it's always fun in the snow with a quad. I love driving in the snow too (when there's no real traffic around), but other than having a white Xmas, winter sucks.

Yeah all that stuff is great, love snowball fights.

Another thing I like about Autumn/Winter is the food. No better time to cook stews, roasts, soups, pies, hot pots and go to the chippy, British food can't be beaten at this time of the year imo.

I've always preferred it to summer really but like I say we don't get summer here and I'm very pale so burn easily in the sun .

We get the same weather here in the Pacific Northwest, but I'm used to it. In fact I've lived in hot weather cities and couldn't get out fast enough
