In most cases they're just referring to the person whose post is above them. Kinda like a discussion, because this is a music discussion forum.

Also people post thinking they are going to right under the person they want to quote and some other person is quicker and they don't edit for whatever reason...(But I think it's mainly they don't care...I know that's what my issue is, and I can type very fast...I am just like eh **** it...They all seem to have more sense then a head of cabbage they should be ok...)

Meh, maybe it's just me, but I've been using forums for 10 years, and I've always thought that if you're talking to someone you need to quote them. Otherwise you can just post normally.
