It could have easily been worse, that's for sure. He was heading for the room where our prime minister and the entire Conservative caucus were meeting. How much one man's deeds can affect an entire nation frightens me.

That is seriously ****ed up. New Zealand is seen as a safe country but a lot of tourists end up murdered/raped. I'm really sorry to hear about this but I believe Canada is still a wonderful place to live and the community will rally together to ride through this horrible situation.

The garbage is overflowing in the break room at my work and one of the kids I hate the most dropped a soda can on the ground and just left it there. It's really sad when employees start acting like customers. Also ever since I switched departments, people I used to be cool with are ice cold. God I hate people.

The worst thing about this is that the gunman was born and raised in Quebec. He went over to the Middle East to train and turned against his own country. You're right, though, Canada's still a safe and peaceful country to live in, and we'll pull through. Right now, I'm just happy that I'm not living in Iraq.

I thought they said there was a bunch of people? Mind you, that was yesterday, during the lockdown. So sorry for the soldier's family. Hope everyone else is ok.

There were some crazy stories flying around during the lockdown. Only one gunman, but CSIS (our intelligence service) apparently has a list of 90 ISIS trainees currently living in Canada. He and the guy who killed a soldier in a hit-and-run earlier this week were both on it.

Im completely enraged this morning.
