Uh oh. My mom put a nasty dent in a rental car a couple months ago, and she payed through the nose for it. Hate to think what a U-haul would cost.

The quotes we've found online from people in similar situations varied between 2-50K USD, so we're obviously grinding our teeth in anticipation.

How can the policy not include damage overhead? Don't they have "Comprehensive Insurance"? That should cover all eventualities. To think they can subdivide the policies that way is just crazy. I wish you all the best Steph and hope it works out for you. Bloody typical: no good deed goes unpunished...
