Took me three hours to get home from Brooklyn today. Waited a full hour for an A train to show up at 14th street. No announcements, just waiting. By the time the train arrived it was packed and there were so many people on the platform pushing to get in. I luckily made it on but then the 34th and 42nd street stations were worse. It was a sh*t show. MTA failed miserably today. Then, I get to 175th and walk o the bus station to get across the bridge, and the f*cking thing is on fire. Miraculously, there were buses still running to NJ except when I got on the bus, we waited another ten minutes for people to get on, in a bus station that was technically on fire.

This city never ceases to infuriate me.

Is it just me who is annoyed at how groups of people on the internet are trying to portray David Bowie? The man's body has barely been cold five minutes and yet you have groups of people trying to score points and make him out to be like Jimmy Savile with no evidence. Fucking disgrace.

It's not exactly unsubstantiated, but I agree that it's obnoxious to only highlight that element of his life (not to mention that so many people only seem to care now that Bowie's in the spotlight).

Bowie had some inappropriate relations with a couple of underage groupies, most notably Lori Maddox, who you might recognize as the case used to demonize everything Led Zeppelin.

@grindy, people are trying to make him out to be a hardcore nonce. I don't even mean a rumoured nonce I mean an actual convicted scumbag. I've seen people referring to him as all sorts including a rapist, since he died.
